At the back of the Huawei P40 Pro, there is a huge rectangular bump which takes up space almost 35% of the phone. For the first time, Huawei P40 Pro features five cameras. As usual, the cameras are designed by Leica. At the moment of writing this article, the leakster did not mention regarding the camera specs.
Huawei P40: A multicolour variant
For the Huawei P40, we have gotten a few rendered images from 91Mobiles. Upfront, it has a similar display to the Huawei P40 Pro. The front features a dual selfie camera similar to the Huawei P40 Pro. The below of the device, we can see there is a speaker and below is a sim slot area. According to 91Mobiles, the front comes with a 6.1″ to 6.2″ of AMOLED display.
The rear side, instead of having five cameras, the Huawei features a triple-camera setup. It will be using the lens from Leica. From the rendered images also we got to know that Huawei will be including multicolour options for the Huawei P40. This is similar to the current Huawei P30 colours.

How many of you are still using Windows 7 for your daily usage? Many companies are already upgrading their workstations to Windows 10 as we speak now. Back in 2019 March, Microsoft officially announces that Windows 7 will come to end of life in 2020. 14th January is the last date of Windows 7 support.
According to Microsoft, even if you are still using Windows 7, you don’t have to worry about the end of support. The end of support means, you can still use Windows 7 in your PC but Microsoft will neither be providing any technical support nor software updates. This means, your Windows 7 PC will be more prone to virus attacks.
In order to avoid this, Microsoft is suggesting its users upgrade to Windows 10 as soon as possible. Make sure, you backup your PC before upgrading it to Windows 10. Do let us know if you have any doubts regarding Windows 7 end of support.
OnePlus CEO, Pete just unveils the world’s first invisible camera smartphone during at the CES 2020. The OnePlus Concept One is the magical smartphone which plays tricks with your eyes. Don’t believe it? Check out the video below the end of this article.
Similar to its special edition smartphone OnePlus has collaborated with McLaren to develop this new concept smartphone. When we say concept it means it is not for sale at the moment. Honestly, the OnePlus Concept One has this stylish look with the leather-wrapped Papaya Orange at the back of the phone. This type of material is only used in the McLaren supercars.
OnePlus listens to its consumers
From this CES2020, we also got to know that OnePlus is the only smartphone maker who listens to its consumer’s problem. To be honest, I am really not a fan of the camera bump for smartphones. That’s when OnePlus got an idea to use the McLaren technology to magically hide the camera. Thanks to OnePlus who could make this a reality by using the electrochromic glass which shifts the colour of the glass to black.
This is the exact technology where the McLaren 720S uses for its sunroof. All you need to pay $9,100 just for this feature to be included in the McLaren 720S. Using this technology, the glass roof panel can alter its tint and control the amount of light to enter through. Imagine having a similar technology for a smartphone.
Besides magically hiding the rear cameras, OnePlus has also make use of the electrochromic glass to improve the photography feature. Now with the OnePlus Concept One, you can use it as an ND filter. Most of the time, when you are outside taking picture outisde, the lighting situations makes you difficult to take pictures. No worries, with this ND filter you can toggle it by tapping on the “ND8” using the camera Pro mode.
In a nutshell, OnePlus has not mention any plans on whether this device is going into production since it is just a concept smartphone. Well the question now is whether other smartphone makers are going to use the similar electrochromic glass technology to hide the camera bump.
Samsung finally unveils its first mid-range smartphone of 2020. That is none other than the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite. We have talked about the previous Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10. There surely are a few things Samsung had to sacrifice in order to make the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite affordable. Here’s what Samsung has included for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite
Despite being an affordable mid-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite features a large 6.7″ Full HD+ display. This is the Samsung newest Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O Display. But, the drawback here is the screen resolution which is 2400 x 1080. The original Samsung Galaxy S10 has a screen resolution of 3040 x 1440. At the top centre, you find the punch-hole which houses the selfie camera.
For the camera wise, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a triple-camera setup. Instead of having the 12MP dual-aperture as the main camera, the S10 Lite has a 48MP wide-camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro camera. Despite having a lower spec camera, Samsung promises that you can shoot better photo and video with its Super Steady OIS. The front has a higher 32MP selfie camera which is way better than the previous S10 front camera.
Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy S10 also features the Snapdragon 855 processor which can be mated with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The storage wise, Samsung includes 128GB of internal storage with additional storage of 1TB via a microSD card. Keeping the lights on is the juicy 4,500mAh battery. On top of that, you can also use the 25W fast charging adapter to charge your S10 Lite. However, Samsung didn’t mention about the wireless charging capability.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite
Coming to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite, it features the similar 6.7″ Full HD+ display similar to the Galaxy S10 Lite. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite only comes with a flat display panel instead of a curved display panel which the Note 10 has it. The front camera placement is similar to the current Galaxy Note 10. It has both fingerprint authentication and the face recognition feature to unlock your phone.
Similar to the Galaxy S10 Lite, the Note 10 Lite also features a triple-camera setup. It has a 12MP wide camera, 12MP telephoto camera and 16MP ultra-wide camera. You can take selfies using the front 32MP selfie camera. Comparing with the Note 10, the rear camera is similar to the Note 10 Lite. However, the Note 10 only has a 10MP selfie camera which is a plus point for the Note 10 Lite.
The Galaxy Note 10 Lite also comes with an S Pen. However, there are sacrifices Samsung has to make which is removing the 6-axis sensor. This means you can’t really do the gesture control with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite.
Powering this device is the 10nm Exynos 9810 processor. This is the similar processor which exist in the Galaxy Note 9. Similar to the S10 Lite it comes in two variant which is the 6GB and 8GB of RAM variant. This includes the internal storage of 128GB too with expansion via microSD card. Samsung is keeping the device to last longer with its 4,500mAh battery which is bundled with 25W Super fast charging feature. And you can’t expect the wireless charging feature for the Note 10 Lite.
In a nutshell, both Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite are the first mid-range smartphone from Samsung this year. As it said in its website, Samsung shows off the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite during the CES 2020 in Las Vegas. According to the Samsung representative in Las Vegas, these phones are the lite flagship smartphones.

Today, mobile phone giants Vivo, OPPO and Xiaomi announced their partnership to bring an innovative new wireless file transfer system to consumers around the world. An initiative of the newly formed “Peer-to-Peer Transmission Alliance”, the new system enables seamless cross-brand file transfer with just one click.
Vivo, OPPO and Xiaomi have established the “Peer-to-Peer Transmission Alliance” to provide users with an unparalleled file transfer experience. The new wireless file transfer system will allow consumers of these three brands to easily transfer files between their mobile devices without the need for any third-party applications or network data, supporting a wide range of files, including photos, videos, music, documents and more. The move is also in anticipation of 5G adoption, where the average file sizes are expected to significantly increase with the availability of varied and richer content.
“Vivo, OPPO and Xiaomi all share a strong user base, and such partnership will benefit even more consumers globally. For Vivo, this partnership reinforces our commitment to bringing a fast, secure, first-in-class mobile experience by making it even easier for our users to share files with their friends wirelessly. We will continue to bring more strategic partnerships like this for our users across the globe,” said Spark Ni, Senior Vice President of Vivo.
Instant and stable connection with low power consumption
The wireless file transfer system provides a streamlined mobile experience which does not require an internet connection. It uses Bluetooth for fast pairing and WiFi P2P (Peer to Peer) technology for the data transfer, bringing together an instant, stable and high-speed connection between devices, as well as low power consumption. This technology delivers an average transfer speed of 20MB/s. Also, the WiFi P2P technology does not interrupt the WiFi connection, meaning users remain connected and can continue their activities on the device during the file transfer.
Users just need to turn on their WiFi and Bluetooth, or turn on the function under “menu”, then select the files that they wish to share. If the other party also has the function turned on, an icon will pop-up to notify the user. Once confirmed, the selected files will be transferred.
Customer-first approach to drive healthy industry development
The Peer-to-Peer Transmission Alliance is a collective commitment between Vivo, OPPO and Xiaomi to drive the next generation of mobile experience. Together, the three brands will continue to openly collaborate to deliver new technological breakthroughs. The Alliance is also looking forward to welcoming more brands to participate and expand the ecosystem in the future.
Availability
This feature will be gradually rolled out on new Vivo products in different markets from February 2020.
One of the most famous eWallet providers in Malaysia is Touch ‘n Go eWallet. There are other eWallet providers such as Boost and GrabPay. However, these eWallets could not provide what TNG eWallet can provide us. That is its new Park ‘n Go feature.
With the new Park ‘n Go feature, you don’t have to worry about street parking tickets. You know sometimes when you have urgent things to do and that’s the time you got to know that you don’t have your parking ticket. Now, you can worry less because you can use your TNG eWallet to pay your street parking.
Currently, TNG has launched this service in a few town councils which are DBKL, Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya, Perbadanan Putrajaya, Majlis Daerah Kuala Langat and Majlis Perbandaran Kota Bharu. There’s still no confirmation yet whether TNG is planning to roll out this service in Northern Regions too.
Here’s how to use Park ‘n Go street parking
First of all in order to use the Park ‘n Go feature, you need to download the TNG eWallet app which is available for both iOS and Android. Then you have to create an account and then launch the TNG eWallet app. Now you should be able to see a “Parking” icon. Tap the icon and then select “Pay For Parking Now”.
Make sure you add your vehicle number and description. The reason is because some of the users have multiple vehicles. So with the description, you managed your vehicles easily. Next, you should select the parking location from the list and also the duration. But before that, you need to enter the One Time Pin (OTP) for verification before confirming your payment.
You might be thinking about what happens if the parking duration expires. Well, the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app will send you a notification 15-minutes before the expiry. You can decide whether you want to extend your parking using the TNG eWallet app. This can be done easily without you walking yourself to the car and extend the parking duration. Here’s the video tutorial on how to use the Park ‘n Go feature.
In conclusion, this is something we need in Malaysia. Finding parking is already hectic. Additionally, finding for either a parking meter or parking ticket is worst than that. We believe that this service can really help Malaysians to Park ‘n Go their vehicle easily.
