Interestingly, now we know which phone from Xiaomi will be utilising the latest Snapdragon 865 processor. The Mi 10 will be using this new chipset which is expected to launch during the Mobile World Congress 2020. As usual, we can expect the Xiaomi Mi 10 to launch in February 2020.

Apparently, the Snapdragon 865 processor which will be used in the Mi 10 will not come with the 5G modem. A separate Snapdragon X55 5G modem is required as a combo with the Snapdragon 865 in order the smartphone maker to realize the 5G feature. With this Snapdragon X55 modem, the Xiaomi Mi 10 could be supporting the dual-mode 5G which are SA and NSA network.

Overall, we can also expect Xiaomi to announce the Redmi K30 soon. This will be the Xiaomi’s first smartphone to support dual-mode 5G. However, it won’t be running on Snapdragon 865. It will be utilising the MediaTek’s new Dimensity 1000 chip.
