February is just around the corner and Samsung has already revealed the launch date of its upcoming smartphone, Galaxy S20. Samsung will be launching the Galaxy S20 on 11th of February which will takes place in San Francisco. At the same time, we are also hearing rumours saying that Samsung could be introducing its next-generation wireless earbuds, Galaxy Buds+.

Surprisingly, before the launch itself, our serial leakster @evleaks claims that Samsung will be giving away the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ for free when you pre-order its latest Galaxy S20+ and S20 Ultra. This promotion is only valid during the pre-order period. If you miss this opportunity then you might need to buy the Galaxy Buds+ separately. @evleaks has even share us the photo of the promotion from Samsung.

We know that this is just a picture only. But, from the leaked picture above, it seems pretty convincing. The design of the Galaxy Buds+ looks almost similar to the current Galaxy Buds. We are not sure what are the newly added features for the Galaxy Buds+ but we are looking forward to hearing it from Samsung itself on 11th February. However, rumours say that Samsung is not including the active noise cancellation feature for the Galaxy Buds+.

Samsung Galaxy S20: 100x Space Zoom

For the pricing wise, we are expecting Samsung Malaysia to keep the Galaxy Buds+ price at within RM600. This is because the current Galaxy Buds is retailing at RM499. If Samsung wants to sell for a higher price, RM600 could be the maximum expected price for the Galaxy Buds+.

Besides the Galaxy Buds+, we also got to know that the Galaxy S20 will be upgrading its camera system. From the promotion picture above, it seems like Samsung is adding a new feature called Space Zoom. From the picture, we know that you can take space photography by zooming up to 100x Space Zoom.

Well, that’s all we have for now. We will update you all once Samsung reveals both the Galaxy S20 and also the Galaxy Buds+ very soon. Stay tuned for more updates from us.

Finally, we can confirm you all the WhatsApp will be rolling out its Dark mode feature very soon for its Android app. This was first confirmed by the most famous WhatsApp beta website. According to WABetaInfo, the “Dark Theme” is available to all beta users with the version 2.20.13.

How to enable WhatsApp Dark Theme?

Previously, when we wrote a few articles about Dark Mode, we were really hoping WhatsApp should introduce the Dark Mode feature for its app. Soon Facebook-owned apps will be complete with the Dark Mode feature. If you are using the beta version as stated above, then you can enable the Dark Theme from the “Chat” under the settings page. WhatsApp even allows you to either manually disable it or you can also allow your Android dark mode setting to set it for you.

For you, Dark Mode is something normal. It just makes your screen darker right. But there is a scientific reason why Dark Theme is really necessary for smartphones. First of all, with Dark Mode, it improves the battery life of your smartphone especially if it has an OLED display. According to TheVerge, Dark Mode really improves your smartphone battery life. That’s the reason companies like Apple and Google are developing their apps and OS with system-wide Dark Mode.

Apart from that, Dark Mode is also good for your eyes. Many of us like to use our smartphone during the night. With the bright colour interface, it can strain our eyes. But, with Dark Mode, the interface is darker which makes it easier to use it in dark environments. See, now you already know the benefits of changing your phone settings to Dark Mode.

At the moment, the Dark Theme is available for Android beta users only. But, if it is already reaching to Android users soon then iOS users should be receiving these updates within this year itself. If you are using an Android smartphone, you can try to install the beta APK from here. Do note that, it is risky to install APK from websites because it might contain virus or malware.

In a nutshell, we can’t wait to try out the Dark Theme for WhatsApp for iOS once WhatsApp rolls out officially to non-beta users.

Apple’s first low-cost iPhone launching soon in March 2020

Reading Time: 2 minutes read

How many of you want to own an iPhone but due to the high pricing you decide to use Android smartphones? If you are one of them, then we have good news for you all. Apple will be launching its first-ever low-cost iPhone on March 2020.

According to the report from Bloomberg, Apple is prepping to launch its new low-cost iPhone this year. Well, this is not the first time Apple launches its so-called “affordable” iPhones SE. However, this year, it seems convincing that Apple is indeed working on a “low-cost” iPhone. Could this be the next-generation iPhone SE?

First of all, the low-cost iPhone will almost look-alike the previous iPhone 8 which was launched back in 2017. According to iGeeksBlog, the so-called “low-cost” iPhone could be named as either iPhone 9 or iPhone SE2. Nevertheless, the design still remains the same as the iPhone 8. Despite having a similar design, the iPhone SE2 will feature a 4.7″ display. The rear will come with the frosted glass back which you can see in the current iPhone 11.

The best part of all is the return of the home button to the iPhone. Twitter leakster @OnLeaks, confirms that the iPhone SE2 will be having an actual home button. This means you can expect the Touch ID to be built-in into the home button. Due to the “low-cost” iPhone, there wouldn’t be a Face ID on the iPhone SE2.

Bloomberg also has reported that the assembly of the iPhone SE2 will be split between three supplier Hon Hai Precision Industry, Pegatron Corp. and Wistron Corp. Previously, most of Apple’s iPhones will be assembled by Foxconn. Since Foxconn charges Apple at a higher rate now, Apple has decided to leave Foxconn and assemble its devices in other countries.

That’s all, for now, we have regarding Apple’s low-cost iPhone SE2. We will constantly update you all once we have more updates regarding the low-cost iPhone. Follow our Facebook page for more latest updates.

Google’s new search result icons are crazily irritating

Google is the most used search engines in the world. You can literally search anything on Google without worrying about the results. Google is always trying to improve its search results by updating its search engines with new updates. However, for its latest updates, things seem kind of crazily irritating.

If you have noticed in your search results, Google has added a tiny favicon of the website in the search results. Even though this is a small update Google rolls out, I personally find it a kind of crazily irritating. According to Google, this is part of its plan to make sure to let the user know from where the information is coming from.

I think before this itself, the Google search engine has already had a clean interface. I am not sure why are they doing this to the search results. But, when I am searching for a search result using Google, I only want to know the results not from where it is coming from. However, for ads wise most probably, all of you want to know about it. The reason is you should know whether you are clicking on the ads or organic search results.

Google has tweeted that, apart from mobile search results, it will be rolling this update to the desktop search results too. Some of you could have already seen the search results with the irritating favicon.

If your website doesn’t have a favicon, then you can add a new one by following the guideline from Google. A special thanks to Lifehacker for sharing the steps to apply filters to remove the favicons on the search results. If you don’t care about these changes then deal with it. Let us know in the comment section whether you are happy with Google’s new search engine update.

Reading Time: 3 minutes read

MWC 2020 is just around the corner and every year Huawei will unveil its next P series smartphone. This year also Huawei will keep on following its tradition by unveiling the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro soon. Thanks to our serial leakster @evleaks for revealing the design of the Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro.

Huawei P40 Pro: The white ceramic variant

Here is the first look of Huawei P40 Pro. First of all, looking at the image above, the Huawei P40 Pro features a punch-hole display. For the first time, Huawei is including two selfie cameras on the top left corner. Over at the right side, it has a volume rocker button and a power button. It looks like it has a screen-to-body ratio of at least 90%.

At the back of the Huawei P40 Pro, there is a huge rectangular bump which takes up space almost 35% of the phone. For the first time, Huawei P40 Pro features five cameras. As usual, the cameras are designed by Leica. At the moment of writing this article, the leakster did not mention regarding the camera specs.

Huawei P40: A multicolour variant

For the Huawei P40, we have gotten a few rendered images from 91Mobiles. Upfront, it has a similar display to the Huawei P40 Pro. The front features a dual selfie camera similar to the Huawei P40 Pro. The below of the device, we can see there is a speaker and below is a sim slot area. According to 91Mobiles, the front comes with a 6.1″ to 6.2″ of AMOLED display.

The rear side, instead of having five cameras, the Huawei features a triple-camera setup. It will be using the lens from Leica. From the rendered images also we got to know that Huawei will be including multicolour options for the Huawei P40. This is similar to the current Huawei P30 colours.

Overall, that all we know about the Huawei P40 series. As we said previously, Huawei could be launching the Huawei P40 series smartphone in Paris on February. Apart from that, Huawei also will be shipping the Huawei P40 series smartphone without Google Mobile Services. Stay tuned for more updates from us.
