From the media invite, the rest of the three cameras could be the ultra-wide-angle camera, a telephoto lens and a depth sensor. Other than Realme, Xiaomi also recently teases us with a picture of a cat snapped using its new 64MP Redmi smartphone. Two days ago, Samsung teases it will be unveiling the new Galaxy Tab and the Samsung smartwatch in two separate events on July 31 and August 5 respectively. The first device Samsung unveils is the Galaxy Tab S6. Samsung did not hold any official event as it will be having a grand event in New York to launch the Galaxy Note 10. Samsung unveils the Galaxy Tab 6 on its official website.
https://youtu.be/yilbQbIm7UU
Taking a look at the Galaxy Tab S6, personally, we feel this is an alternative tablet to the iPad Pro. Samsung has updated the specs of the Galaxy Tab series with better storage and RAM. Apart from that, the new Galaxy Tab S6 comes with an S Pen which the Note device has.
https://youtu.be/qKnlnLMfsyY
Is this the iPad Pro killer tablet?
By looking at the design itself, the Galaxy Tab S6 seems to be the contender to the iPad Pro. But, we need to further analyze the specs before finalising our result. The Tab S6 comes with a 10.5″ WQXGA Super AMOLED display with a 2560 x 1600 pixels. If you do the math, that is 287ppi. Unlike the iPad Pro, it comes in two models which has an 11″ display and 12.9″ display.
Apart from that, the Galaxy Tab S6 also comes with the all-new S Pen. Samsung made changes on the design of the Tab S6 rear side. The Tab S6 has a subtle indent for the S Pen. Next time when you use the S Pen, you can directly attach it to the rear of the Tab S6. The S Pen charges automatically the moment you attach your S Pen at the rear. If you compare the S Pen placement with Apple Pencil placement, this seems slightly off. The reason is, when you want to place your Tab S6 on the table the device will be bulging, or else you need to keep on the table as shown in the figure below. Let us know your thoughts regarding this new S Pen placement.
On the audio side, the Galaxy Tab S6 comes with four speakers on both sides. These speakers are specially tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos. This means the sounding will be totally different compared to other tablets in the market. Similarly, the iPad Pro also has four speakers on both sides. At this moment, we can’t compare the sounds yet as Samsung has not revealed the official date it will be available in the stores.
One of the features the Tab S6 has which the iPad Pro doesn’t have is the in-display fingerprint sensor. This is the first time, Samsung is adding the in-display fingerprint sensor in its tablet. Samsung integrates the same fingerprint sensor technology which is currently present in the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+.
Galaxy Tab S6 could be the next powerhouse tablet
Another feature the Galaxy Tab S6 has is the dual-camera setup. The main camera comes with a 13MP f/2.2 sensor and a 5MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle sensor. This allows you to take a wide angle shot with a 123-degrees of a field of view. You can also record and edit 4K videos directly on your tablet instantly. The front comes with an 8MP f/2.0 sensor.
Having all these features requires the Tab S6 to have a fast processor. Now the Tab S6 is powered by Snapdragon 855 processor. Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Tab S6 in two models which is the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. You can even add microSD card up to 1TB storage. The Galaxy Tab S6 also comes with 7,040mAh battery which could keep you to watch videos for 15 hours on a single charge via its USB-C port.
In conclusion, looking at all these features this could be the iPad Pro killer tablet. There are more features such as Samsung Dex and Bixby. You can find more detail on the official product page. For now, the pricing details and availability has not been reveal by Samsung yet. Probably, Samsung could reveal more details during the Note 10 launch event. We will update this article upon receiving official confirmation from Samsung.

After Facebook buys WhatsApp back in 2014, Facebook has introduced many interesting features such as group video calls and stickers. Now, we have been hearing Facebook might be working on a major upgrade to the WhatsApp app.
One of our closest sources, WABetaInfo reveals that Facebook is working on a new feature for WhatsApp which will let you use the same account on multiple devices across multiple platforms. Soon you might also be able to install WhatsApp both on your Macs and Windows including iPads.
At this moment, you still can use WhatsApp on your computer via the WhatsApp Web. However, there isn’t any standalone app yet until now. According to the leaker, Facebook is changing the whole experience soon. Here are a few details from WABetaInfo.
Your main WhatsApp account on iPad (when the app will be available) without uninstalling it from your iPhone.
The same WhatsApp account on iOS and Android devices.
WhatsApp on your computer (without the necessity for an Internet connection on your phone) using the UWP app (this is one of the reasons why started to develop it).
It will be obviously possible to use the same account on Windows Phone (using UWP) and WhatsApp for Windows (always the UWP version).
In conclusion, there aren’t any screenshots for the leaker yet. We will update this article once we got further information regarding these upgrades.
