Have you ever thought of drones flying inside your home? Now, there is a security drone which flies inside your house. Amazon-owned company Ring has announced its new indoor security camera which “flies”. It’s called the Always Home Cam.

With this device, you don’t have to worry about burglary anymore. The reasons are, the moment, it can fly through your home to find who is the person. According to Ring founder, Jamie Siminoff, he says that many of its customers always forget whether they have closed their house windows before leaving their house. He says that instead of simply encouraging their customers to buy more Ring cameras, Ring wanted to solve this problem with a single camera. Well, that’s the Always Home Cam.

How it works?

Surely many of you will have concern on safety and also privacy. First of all, the Always Home Cam does not automatically detect burglary. Only you can activate it to fly around your house. Assuming now, the burglar breaks into your house, surely the house alarm system will be triggered. Then, you should receive an emergency call from the alarm security company or maybe notification on your phone.

This is when as the house owner, you can activate the Always Home Cam to fly through your house. For safety-wise, Ring has developed the obstacle avoidance technology for this security drone. With this feature, it can fly through your house and it can automatically avoid obstacles such as pets or objects. Besides that, it also has shrouded propellers which allows it to fly safely inside the home.

Similar to the iRobot vacuum cleaner, you can use the Ring app to build a map of your home. So with this feature, you can even set the path of how the drone can fly through your house. As you may know the drone doesn’t require any kind of control for your side. However, if you wish to take over control of the drone, you can control it using your Ring app.

Pricing and Availability

Is this a worth to purchase a thing? What do you think about it? Let us know in the comment section below. For the pricing wise, the Always Home Cam could be starting from USD 249.99 (RM1,039). As for now, Ring hasn’t launched it officially yet. According to the Ring official blog post, it says that interested people can sign up to be notified during the launch.

In conclusion, we think this is a worth security device for all house owners as long as you have your own home alarm security system. If you don’t have one, then its not worth getting this futuristic flying drone.

The Vivo V20 SE is also equipped with a triple camera setup. At first, we were expecting it to have quad cameras. But due to the cost constraint the Vivo V20 SE only comes with triple camera setup. However, there are slight chances that the upcoming Vivo V20 to feature a quad-camera.

Reading Time: 4 minutes read

Besides unveiling the Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE, Apple has also unveiled the new iPad Air. For the first time, the iPad Air arrives in three new unique colours. We are sure kids would love those colours.

First of all, Apple has redesigned the new iPad Air which looks alike the new iPad Pro. Another thing to note about the new iPad Air is the design looks similar to the upcoming long rumoured iPhone 12. Well, if the rumours are true then we can strongly say that this is how the iPhone 12 is going to be.

The new iPad Air Technical Specs

About the specs, the new iPad Air features a 10.9″ Liquid Retina Display. This is the similar display being used by the new iPad Pro too. What Apple has done compared to the previous iPad Air is, it has removed the Home button from the front display. Now, the iPad Air has the Touch ID sensor which is added on the power button itself. This makes us to think that, could possibly Apple add the Touch ID for the upcoming iPhone 12 on the power button while keeping the Face ID too? That’s something we need to think about. Share us your comments below.

Under the hood, the new iPad Air is powered by Apple’s new A14 Bionic chip. Sorry guys, there is another rumour for the iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 will be running on this similar processor too. Back to the iPad Air, with the A14 Bionic chip, the CPU performance increases by 40%. Whereas, for the graphics-wise, its 30% faster now. Games are going to be incredible in the new iPad Air.

After such a long time, Apple has finally replaces the lightning port with the USB-C port. Moving forward, you can connect cameras and external display to the iPad Air directly. Apart from that, files can be transferred in lightning speed by using the USB-C port.

At the camera department, Apple still remains the front with the 7MP FaceTime HD camera. Apple knows that many people are not going to use the front camera to take selfies. Most of the time users prefer to use a smartphone rather than a tablet when it comes to taking photos. The rear features a 12MP main camera. You can record 4K videos at 60fps and 1080p videos at 30fps using the front camera.

Interestingly, for the first time ever Apple has included unique colours for the new iPad Air. The new iPad Air comes in five colours which are silver, space grey, rose gold, green and sky blue. The unique colours which we think kids are going to love is rose gold, green and blue.

For the battery wise, the new iPad Air features a 28.6 watt-hour rechargeable battery. As we told previously, you can easily charge the iPad Air using the USB-C port. Apple also promises that the new iPad Air provides all-day battery life. Before we forget about the Apple Pencil. The new iPad Air also supports both the Magic Keyboard and the 2nd generation Apple Pencil.

The price of the new iPad Air starts at RM2,599 for the 64GB WiFi model and RM3,149 for the 64GB WiFi + Cellular model. For the 256GB WiFi model is priced at RM3,249 and the Cellular model is priced at RM3,799. At the moment of writing this article, Apple has not reveal the launch date of iPad Air in Malaysia. But, we are expecting the new iPad Air to be available by mid of November though.

In conclusion, the new iPad Air looks cool. Especially the colours are unique. You can find more info about the new iPad over at Apple’s website.

Apple Watch SE: Still the great features with cheaper price

0
Reading Time: 3 minutes read

The moment, Tim Cook talks about the Apple Watch at the Apple Park, we knew that Apple is also going to unveil a cheaper version of the Apple Watch. And, well here it is the Apple Watch SE. A cheaper Apple Watch with great features in it.

Back when Apple unveils the iPhone SE early this year, they re-launch the iPhone 8 with a new name. That’s how the Apple Watch SE is. The Apple Watch SE is the re-launch of the Watch Series 4, with the better processor of Series 5 in it. The Apple Watch SE is powered by Apple’s own designed S5 chip. This is the similar chip where you can find it in the current Apple Watch Series 5.

Apple realizes that many people are preferring to use the Apple Watch rather than other smartwatches. Due to that reason, Apple wants to make Apple Watch affordable than ever. The Apple Watch starts from $279 (RM1,199), in comparison with the current Apple Watch Series 5 is priced at RM1,749. However, if you head over to the Apple website, you might not find the info about the Apple Watch Series 5. The reason is Apple seems to have removed it from the Apple Store.

For the features wise, you still get to use all the great feature from the Apple Watch Series 5. For example, similar to the Apple Watch Series 6, the Watch SE has the sleep tracking feature. With this feature, you can track your sleeping habits using the Health app on your iPhone. The Apple Watch SE also supports the fall detection feature and also the emergency SOS feature. All the features you can expect in the Series 5 are included in Series 6.

Apple removes these features to make the Apple Watch SE affordable

However, Apple has removed one great feature from the Apple Watch SE. It is the always-on display. Probably, to cut down the cost Apple has already removed the always-on display feature. With this feature, you can easily view the time without moving your hands. We are expecting that the Apple Watch SE could consume more battery than the Apple Watch Series 6.

Besides that, Apple did not include the latest health feature in the Apple Watch SE. To make it more affordable, Apple did not include the Blood Oxygen sensor and the Electrical Heart sensor. Which means you can’t really measure your Blood Oxygen level using the cheaper Apple Watch SE.

In conclusion, the Apple Watch SE is the cheaper version of the combination of Apple Watch Series 4 and Series 5. Yet, it has all the great features for your health. Well, the Apple Watch SE will be available in Malaysia soon. Apple has also unveiled the Apple Watch Series 6. For now, Apple has only revealed the pricing details for Malaysians. Apple Watch Series 6 features in two new colours

Reading Time: 4 minutes read

A few weeks ago before Apple announces its product launch event, rumours were circulating around saying that Apple will be unveiling Apple Watch Series 6. Today, Apple officially unveils its next generation Apple Watch. It is the Apple Watch Series 6.

Blood Oxygen

The all-new Apple Watch Series 6 comes with tons of great feature which focuses on health. This smartwatch is going to be the future of health. One of the new features in the Apple Watch Series 6 is the Blood Oxygen monitoring feature. Using this feature you can understand how well your body is absorbing oxygen, and the amount of oxygen delivered to your body.

It’s pretty much simple to use. All you need to do is launch the Blood Oxygen feature and then wait for 15 seconds. Using the blood oxygen sensor the Apple Watch Series 6 shines green, red, and infrared LEDs light onto your blood vessels in your wrist. With the photodiodes, it measures the amount of light reflected back. Advanced algorithms then calculate the colour of your blood, which indicates the amount of oxygen present.

ECG

Another awaited feature the Series 6 gets is the ECG feature. As you have already know, back in 2019 Apple unveils the ECG feature in the Apple Watch Series 5. But, during that moment, Apple did not unveil this feature globally. Only selected countries able to use the ECG feature. Now, Apple has officially roll out the ECG feature to the Apple Watch Series 6.

ECG is called an electrocardiogram. Doctors use this feature in order to know about your heart rhythm. With the ECG feature, doctors can easily find whether you have any health issues. To use this feature on the Apple Watch Series 6 is simple. All you need to do is launch the ECG app and then hold your finger onto the digital crown for 30 seconds. Make sure your arm and legs are in a stable position. With this feature, you can easily know about your health in detail.

Sleep Tracking

Well, right before Apple unveils the Apple Watch Series 6, other smartwatches brands have already included the sleep tracking feature in their smartwatches. We know it is kind of late for Apple to include this feature in the Apple Watch Series 6. Nevertheless, this could be one of the best features in the Apple Watch Series 6. The only doubt we have on our mind is on when the user needs to charge their smartwatch if they wear their Apple Watch during the night too. This is still unclear for us right now.

New Design

Besides thinking of health, another reason we think you should buy the Apple Watch Series 6 is for new colours. The all-new Apple Watch Series 6 comes in two new colours which are Blue and Product Red case. Not even the current nor the previous Apple Watch has these two colours. And by looking at the video, below we can surely say the Blue colour looks sick.

Therefore, Apple has also added new watch faces for the Apple Watch Series 6. In comparison with the Oppo Watch, Apple needs more time to include AI for creating watch face. But, for now, Apple has added Memoji watch face and a few other watch faces which we find it interesting.

Apple has also introduced a new watch strap which is called the Solo Loop. The current Apple Watch comes with watch strap which you have a buckle to lock it or unlock it. In this upcoming Watch Series 6, you can easily change to your favourite watch strap based on your hand size.

Pricing and Availability

For the pricing price, the Apple Watch Series 6 starts from $399 (approx RM 1648.00). If you are outside of the United States then probably you might need to wait for another a couple of days before ordering the Apple Watch Series 6.

In conclusion, the Apple Watch Series 6 is the smartwatch which you should purchase it only when you care about your health. The reason is the future of health is located inside your wrist. For more details on the Apple Watch Series 6 visit Apple website.
