Using Tetracell technology, the image sensor able to produce brighter 27MP images by imitating big-pixel sensors during low-light situations. Whereas in the bright environment, the HMX uses the Smart-ISO to select the level of amplifier gains according to the illumination of the environment intelligently. It also uses the same Smart-ISO settings which help to reduce noise during darker settings.
Other than that, the 108MP HMX image sensor also supports video recording up to 6K 96016 x 3384) at 30-frames-per-second (fps) without losses in field-of-view. Sooner, you can start to film movies using this 108MP Bright HMX image sensor.
