A few days ago, Realme unveils the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro for its users. Sooner after that, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth shares a tweet saying that it Realme is not done yet. Before this, when Realme unveils its 64MP quad-camera during the event, Realme says it will be launching three quad-camera smartphones will be before Deepavali.

From the tweet above, we know the 64MP quad-camera smartphone will be called as Realme XT. During the launch event a few days ago, Realme says the Realme XT will be a “complete expert” and will be unveiling before Deepavali. At this moment, Realme has not provided us with the exact launch date. However, we are sure Realme will be announcing the Realme XT before the end of September.

As we discussed previously, it is confirmed Realme will be using Samsung’s 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor. One of the features of this image sensor is, after capturing a photo in low-light situations it can make your photos brighter using its Tetracell technology. It also has a large 1/1.72″ sensor which could capture more lights.

For now, we still not sure on the specs of the Realme XT. But we can assume the specs should be almost similar to the newly launched Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro. We are also hearing Redmi will be unveiling the world’s first 64MP quad-camera Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro next week. After that, Xiaomi is planning to unveil Mi MIX 4 which will be featuring Samsung’s 108MP Bright HMX image sensor.
