This deepfake bot produces more than 100,000 nude pictures

Reading Time: 3 minutes read

It has been twenty years since the beginning of the technology era. Day by day, there are tons of technologies being unveiled. Especially with AI, it is good for us and also harmful to us. Recently, there is already a new technology called deepfake which making rounds in the tech industry. This is seriously harmful to females because it generates nude pictures of females.

What is deepfake?

First of all, let us explain to you what is deepfake. Deepfake can either be in a form of images or audios. By using deepfake technology, the AI is able to generate almost accurate images or audios. Hearing this seems, to be something interesting, but this is a very dangerous technology which can easily defame a person.

Now, it is really easy to use deepfake technology as in using an app. Recently, there was a bot in Telegram which uses the deepfake technology to generate nude pictures of women. This was found by a cybersecurity expert firm Sensitivity AI. They have reported saying that, using the bot in the Telegram app, users can upload women photos as simple as sending a message and then it will generate the nude picture of them.

According to Sensitivity AI, this Telegram bot has already generated more than 100,000 nude pictures of women as of the end of July this year. Although, this bot has been removed from the Telegram app, yet there are already more than 100,000 nude pictures of women being shared on the Internet.

How Telegram deepfake bot works?

The deepfake bot in Telegram uses a software which is similar to the DeepNude software. It can be said as the open source software of DeepNude. The current DeepNude needs to be paid in order to undress women. But using the Telegram bot you can do it for free.

First of all, the user needs to upload a female photo into the Telegram bot. This is where the DeepNude process kicks in. By using deep learning, the bot “strips” images of a female. It uses AI to mark the points representing the anatomical body parts. Then the software will use AI to select a naked woman picture and combines it with the uploaded images.

This process usually takes a few minutes. And once it’s done, the user will receive a message from the bot with the synthesized body parts. This image will have its own watermark once it’s processed. The user will need to pay in order to remove the watermark.

Who is affected by Telegram deepfake bot?

As per their current finding, it seems that, 16% of the user prefers to undress female celebrities. Besides that, 63% of the user uses the deepfake Telegram bot to upload female who they know in their real life. From their report we can see that only 6% of the users who are not interested to undress women.

Up until now, there is no way to know who are the real person who are affected by this bot. But, as for now, 70% of the users who uses the Telegram bot are from Russia. In South East Asia countries are having 4% user who uses this bot to undress women photos.

This is something really serious, which all the women has to be careful. Most of the user get the photo of girls from the social media networks. Nowadays, parent’s are not monitoring their children behaviour in the social network. This causes them to upload unnecessary photos in their social networks.

In a nutshell, the only way to avoid such an issue is to set your privacy settings to private so that only your friends or followers can view your photos. If you want to know more about the findings from Sensitivity AI you can click here to read the full report.

Reviewing Honor 9A budget smartphone

Reading Time: 6 minutes read

Honor 9A is a budget smartphone which was launched back in Malaysia on June 2020. Even though it is a budget smartphone yet it still has some great features such as the huge battery. In this review, we will be sharing our honest thoughts on the Honor 9A smartphone.

Design

First of all, let’s talk about the design of the Honor 9A. For the design-wise, the Honor 9A has a sturdy design. The Honor 9A feels really good when holding it on hands. However, due to the weight, it makes it heavy. Because of this reason, we can’t really hold the phone for a longer period of time. Besides that, the Honor 9A rear surface is made of plastic which makes it easier fingerprints to be seen. Maybe if Honor has made it glass or matte surface instead of a plastic surface then the design would have been perfect.

Nevertheless, due to this reason, it is highly advisable to use a proper phone case for the Honor 9A smartphone.

Display

The Honor 9A features a 6.3″ FullView waterfall display which only comes with a LCD display. Most of the current smartphones nowadays features a AMOLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner. But, since Honor 9A is a budget smartphone, Honor decided to use LCD display. Instead of having the fingerprint scanner in the display itself, Honor has move it to the rear side of the phone.

Even though, it uses an LCD display, the display is still quite bright than expected. There’s nothing much you can expect when you are using a budget smartphone which is priced below RM1000.

Camera

Over at the camera department, the Honor 9A features an array of four cameras. First of all, it has a 13MP main camera followed by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Over the front side, there is a 8MP front selfie camera.

During our test of using the Honor 9A, we have tested the cameras thoroughly. The photos taken using the main camera looks quite nice than expected. At first, we didn’t expect a budget smartphone to have a great camera. But this phone proves that smartphone makers can include good cameras for a budget smartphone.

If you take a look at the first image above, both the contrast and saturation are quite good. There are a few smartphone where the photos will look alot fake because of adding over saturation. However, in this phone, while using the 13MP main camera, we didn’t really saw these types of issues.

Using the Honor 9A, we have also taken photos using the ultra-wide-angle camera. With the 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, the photo stitching looks good. Not bad for a budget smartphone. The image above is the sample photos taken using both the 13MP main camera and 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

The depth sensor camera works really great at outdoor. As you can see the left photo above is taken using the 2MP depth sensor camera. The blurring of the image looks good. Probably for the software wise requires more improvement than expected. If you take a look at the picture on the right side, it was taken using the depth sensor too. However, this photo was taken at indoor. The Honor 9A did not perform quite well during indoor shots. Unless, there is some additional lights in the area, then the photo looks great in the Honor 9A.

We have also tried the selfie camera in the Honor 9A. Our first impression when using the front 8MP selfie camera is, the photos are not overly saturated. The colours are bright and details are quite sharper than expected. Good job Honor!. But taking selfie in low light is totally not advisable.

Performance/Gaming

Under the hood, the Honor 9A is equipped with MediaTek Helio P22 processor. We can’t really expect a Snapdragon processor on a budget phone. So, performance is not really great. The first issue we found using the Honor 9A is the lack of GMS (Google Mobile Services). Without Google services, it really feels weird to use the Honor 9A.

Due to this reason, we couldn’t really test high graphics games such as the Call of Duty Mobile. But looking at the Huawei App Gallery which they are really working hard to add more apps to it, we found out there is only one high graphic games which we thought of testing it on the Honor 9A. We played the Asphalt 9 game on the Honor 9A and we were quite disappointed with the graphics quality.

It its true that this is a budget smartphone. But stil, when we were playing Asphalt 9 on the Honor 9A, the device becomes hot quicker. And the graphics quality is quite low. Surprisingly, the device doesn’t lag even when we were playing high end games on the Honor 9A.

This phone will be really suitable for those of you who are not going to play high end games. That’s the reason in the beginning of this review we say that, this phone is really suitable for elderly people. If you are looking for a decent smartphone to perform all the basic tasks. Then this is the right guy (Honor 9A) which you are looking for.

Battery

The best part of the Honor 9A is the battery. Honor 9A features a huge 5,000mAh battery capacity which can easily last you up to 1 day. While using this phone for the past two weeks, we were able to use the Honor 9A for two days without charging it for one day. That’s really impressive from Honor.

Even though the Honor 9A has a huge batteries, yet it doesn’t support fast charging. We were kinda disappointed when we saw there is just a micro USB cable with a 5A power brick. Thank god, it has a huge battery, else this will be a total mess. Our advice to Honor is, next time please add fast charging technology in your budget phones. This is what people wants from a budget smartphone.

Pricing and Availability

Now, its time to talk about the pricing. Even though it doesn’t have great specs yet still it is a good phone to buy as a secondary smartphone. The Honor 9A is currently priced at RM549. We were mind blown to know the price! This is super cheap for a budget smartphone.

You can purchase the Honor 9A from both Shopee or Lazada.

Our final verdict

Our final verdict regarding the Honor 9A is, it is a great phone which comes in such a low price. It is totally understandable that Honor had to sacrifice a few things to make a budget smartphone. But, if they add the fast charging feature at least would have been great.

Overall, Honor 9A has a great battery which can last up to 2 days in a single charge. It even has great cameras which is consider good for a budget smartphone. The main lacking in the Honor 9A is the GMS. Without GMS, it is kinda hard to consider the Honor 9A as primary smartphone. Unless it is your secondary smartphone then it is quite a good choice we can say.

In conclusion, if you wish to purchase the Honor 9A you can easily get it from here.

YouTube app now allows gesture control for fullscreen

Reading Time: 3 minutes read

YouTube is the most used video streaming platform. Daily there are millions of active user who are watching YouTube videos on their smartphone. Due to the high usage of the YouTube app on both iOS and Android, Google had to develop a new feature to make sure users like using the YouTube app.

Recently, Google has updated its YouTube app for both iOS and Android devices. During this update, Google has developed a few features for smartphone users. Using this feature, users can watch videos on YouTube continuously. We have tried the feature which we about to show you guys now.

Use gesture to watch videos in full screen

The first feature Google unveils was gesture control. Nowadays, people likes to use gesture to achieve their task. Google has just bring in the gesture control for its YouTube app. Now, using the gesture control you can enter video into full screen easily. Before this, you need to either rotate the video in order to enter full screen or tap on the full screen icon while watching YouTube videos on your smartphone.

gestures gif

Using the new gesture feature, you can easily swipe up to play videos in full screen. While watching videos, you can easily exit the full screen by swiping down on the playback window. With this, you don’t have to worry about exiting the application on both iOS and Android devices.

Skip videos using video chapters

The second feature which Google added on the YouTube app is a video chapter. This is one of our favourite features. The reason is that when you are watching longer duration videos, most of the time the person who uploads the video will be adding the specific timestamp for each chapter. Previously, you need to tap on the timestamps in the description in order to skip the videos. Now, users can easily tap on the chapter title beside the video timestamp. Then the video chapter page will pop up. From there it will be much simpler to navigate between the video chapters.

video chapters

YouTube reminds you to go to sleep

Apart from that, there is another new feature for those people who are less patient. Some people, tend to always tap on the video to see how long it takes to finish the video. If you are that type of person, then now you can easily tap on the video duration while playing the video. This will show the remaining time for the video to finish playing and also the time elapsed in the video. We believe this feature could be really useful for both iOS and Android users.

bedtime reminders

Another feature which Google rolls out for YouTube is bedtime reminders. Google knows that millions of users are active on YouTube daily. However, sometimes kids and also working people tend to spend more time watching YouTube videos during night. This causes their health to be affected tremendously.

In order to avoid this type of issues, now users can set bedtime reminders to stop watching YouTube videos. It is very simple to activate this feature. All you need to do is head over to your Settings page on your YouTube app. Then there should be a new button “Remind me when it’s bedtime”. Upon tapping on the button, you can choose your bedtime and also your wakeup time. Once pressing the OK button, next time when you are watching videos during the night, YouTube will remind you to stop watching videos when its late night.

In conclusion, YouTube new features really show that Google is focussing more on its users. These features which we mentioned above, is available on both iOS and Android devices. For more tech updates follow our Facebook page.

Fully charge your phone using Xiaomi 80W Mi wireless charger

Reading Time: 2 minutes read

We are in the era where smartphone makers are competing each other to introduce their own fast charging wireless technology. As you already know Oppo unveils its 65W fast charging technology back in July. However, today Xiaomi has unveiled its first-ever 80W Mi wireless charging technology.

With the 80W Mi wireless charging technology, Xiaomi says that you can charge Xiaomi smartphone in 100% in just 19 minutes. Imagine you need to leave for a important meeting, you can just place the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro in the wireless charging pad to completely charge before you leave for your meeting.

In the Xiaomi demo video below, Xiaomi has used the latest Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro to charge using the wireless charger. Using the modified Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi is able to charge its smartphone from 0% to 10% in just 1 minute. Wow! In its video also it is clear that you just need 8 minutes to charge your smartphone to 50%.

This is not the first time, Xiaomi is unveiling the fastest wireless charging technology. Back in March, Xiaomi has unveiled the world’s first 40W wireless charging technology. Again, after Oppo, Xiaomi is spearheading the trend of wireless charging technology. For now, Xiaomi has not roll out the 80W Mi wireless charging technology commercially yet. But, we can expect Xiaomi to unveil the 80W wireless charging technology soon in its smartphone next year.

In conclusion, we are guessing next Oppo will be unveiling 120W wireless charging technology too. Let’ the game begin. For more tech updates follow TechmonQuay Facebook page.

5 reasons you should buy the iPhone 12 Pro

Reading Time: 6 minutes read

By now, you probably already know that iPhone 12 is officially revealed by Apple. This week, Apple has unveiled the iPhone 12 series smartphone which includes, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. We have covered the iPhone 12 mini on one of our blog posts.

Confidently, we can say that the iPhone 12 Pro is one of the best smartphones in 2020. But, is this the phone you are looking forward to using for another three years? Here are the five reasons which we think could be a consideration for you to purchase the iPhone 12 Pro.

5G lightning speed download

Firstly, the main reason to buy the iPhone 12 Pro is because of the 5G connectivity. At this moment, 5G is not available in many countries. But, rather than buying a 5G smartphone during the later stage, now it is a good time to get an 5G iPhone. For countries such as Malaysia, 5G will be rolling out by beginning of Q1 2021. Apple has planned strategically to launch its first-ever 5G smartphone.

The whole iPhone 12 lineups support 5G connectivity. This means you can get a truly 5G network with lightning speed. According to Apple, with the 5G connectivity on the iPhone 12 Pro, you can easily reach download speed up to 4Gbps. Another thing to note about the iPhone 12 Pro is it has a mmWave band.

To those of you who might not know about 5G connectivity, 5G can easily drains the battery of your smartphone. Especially, when you use the mmWave band, the battery life of a smartphone could be affected. But, in this case, the iPhone 12 Pro already has a huge battery capacity. On top of that, Apple is introducing Smart Data mode for the iPhone 12 Pro. Using this mode, the iPhone 12 Pro can automatically decide when to switch between 5G and LTE.

World’s best processor

The second obvious reason to get an iPhone is because of Apple’s latest A14 Bionic processor. Apple claims that its processor is far ahead when it compares with its competitors. For the first time, Apple has designed a 5nm processor for a smartphone. In this 5nm processor, there are tons of great things to note.

You don’t have to worry about the battery on your iPhone because the A14 Bionic chipset is able to increase the efficiency for great battery life. Most of the smartphones out there come with a separate GPU. However, that’s not how Apple does things. Inside the Apple A14 Bionic chip, there is a 6-core CPU which is the fastest CPU in a smartphone.

For the graphic wise, the A14 Bionic chip has a 4-core GPU. For all those heavy mobile gamers can enjoy playing high-quality games on the iPhone 12 Pro. Apple also claims that this GPU is capable to deliver 50% faster graphics compared to other smartphones. For all the Machine Learning processing, Apple has also increased its Neural Engine from 8-core to 16-core. This gives 80% faster on all those critical machine learning models.

Apple’s first ever OLED panel for a smartphone

Wait, there are more reasons for you to get the iPhone 12 Pro. After years of waiting, finally Apple brings OLED panel to the iPhone. That’s the same display which the current Mac Pro has. Apple called it as Super Retina XDR display. The difference in size between the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro is not much. But, in the iPhone 12 Pro, it is almost bezel-less. This makes the phone more compact compared to the iPhone 11 Pro.

Moreover, for the first time ever, Apple has worked closely with Corning to develop its own glass technology. Most of us know Corning is very famous for their Gorilla Glass. But with Apple, they are taking a step further by introducing Ceramic Shield for the iPhone. Here’s the explanation from Apple about Ceramic Shield:

Enter Ceramic Shield. It’s made by introducing nano‑ceramic crystals — which are actually harder than most metals — into the glass. Sounds simple, but it’s incredibly difficult because ceramic isn’t transparent. By controlling the type of crystals and degree of crystallinity, we developed an exclusive formula that maximizes the toughness of the ceramic while remaining optically clear. This was the breakthrough that made Ceramic Shield ideally suited for the display. It’s a first in any smartphone, and it’s tougher than any smartphone glass.

Pro cameras for the Pros

Everyone loves the iPhone cameras. No matter what phone you use, but the moment you use the iPhone camera, your photos are totally different. Another reason, which we felt surely make sense to get an iPhone 12 Pro is the camera system inside the iPhone 12 Pro. Similar to the iPhone 11 Pro, Apple continues to have an array of three cameras.

However, Apple has upgraded all its three lenses. First of all, there is a 12MP ultra-wide camera which give up to 120-degrees of field view. The second the camera is a 12MP wide camera with f/1.6 aperture. This allows more light to enter into the lens. Especially using the Night Mode, your photos are going to be awesome with less noise. And also there is the 12MP telephoto camera which offers up to 2x optical zoom.

Not to forget, there is a fourth lens in the iPhone 12 Pro. It is the LiDAR sensor. This is the same technology which NASA uses to scan the surface in Mars. And now, its inside the iPhone 12 Pro. Using this LiDAR sensor, Apple has made tremendous improvement to its camera system. Now, you can shoot great photos in low-light situation. With the LiDAR technology, the iPhone 12 Pro can see more in the dark and allows to autofocus six times faster in low light situation. Good luck trying the Night Mode Portrait.

Record cinematic video in Dolby Vision

One final reason which we felt it is really worth to get the iPhone 12 Pro now is because of a video recording feature which Apple announces. This is the first time ever Apple is introducing Dolby Vision for a smartphone. Not even, Samsung or Huawei has done it before. To those of you who might not know about the Dolby Vision. Here’s a short explanation.

Most of the movies which you watch in the theatre, how is the quality of the movie in terms of colours? It’s great right? All those movies are edited during the post production and this is the time the movie editors add the Dolby Vision grading to it. By adding Dolby Vision to the movie, all the colours in the movie stands out well.

And now, with your iPhone 12 Pro, you don’t have to wait to color grade your videos during post production. Now, you can do it on the Photos app itself inside the iPhone 12 Pro. This can be done on the fly within seconds. Probably, soon we can expect movies being shot using the iPhone 12 Pro.

Here’s the video which was shot and edited on the iPhone 12 Pro using Dolby Vision

Pricing and Availability

For the pricing wise, the iPhone comes in three storage options which are 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. The 128GB model is priced at RM4,899. Whereas both the 256GB and 512GB model is priced at RM5,399 and RM6,299 respectively.

The iPhone 12 Pro release date in Malaysia is still not announced. But, up till now we know that we shall be getting the iPhone 12 Pro by mid of November. The iPhone 12 Pro comes in four colour options which are Silver, Graphite, Gold, Pacific Blue. Our pick is the Pacific Blue.

Here you go guys, these are the top 5 reason which we think made the iPhone worth to purchase in 2020. Soon, Malaysia will be getting 5G, so you don’t have to worry about it. It’s the right time to get the iPhone 12 Pro. For more info on the iPhone 12 Pro visit Apple website.

Apple unveils the world’s smallest, thinnest, lightest 5G phone

Reading Time: 4 minutes read

The world’s smallest, thinnest, lightest 5G smartphone is here. Surprisingly, it is from Apple. Yesterday, Apple has unveiled the iPhone 12 series which is the most awaited smartphone launch of the year. Along with the iPhone 12 series, there is a new model smartphone from Apple.

It is the iPhone 12 mini. This is the first time, Apple has unveiled a phone with 5G network support. Not only that, there are more great things in the iPhone 12 mini. It’s totally unbelievable to see Apple to unveil such a small smartphone with great features.

iPhone 12 mini Technical Specs

First of all, the iPhone 12 mini features a 5.4″ Super Retina XDR display. This is the first time, Apple has used an OLED panel for its iPhones. Compared to the previous iPhone 11 which only comes with the LCD display. This time, not only the iPhone 12 mini, the complete iPhone 12 lineups comes with the OLED display panel. Similar to the previous iPhones, Apple is keeping the notch on the iPhone 12 mini too.

One thing for sure we like about the iPhone 12 series is the design. After such a long time, Apple has brought back the iPhone 4 design to the iPhone 12 series. If you notice at each side of the iPhone 12 mini, there is the antenna band. With this antenna band, the iPhone 12 mini is able to support better 5G network connectivity. Besides that, Apple also says that this is the first time Apple has work closely with Corning to develop its own durable glass technology. Apple is calling it the Ceramic Shield. According to Apple, this is a glass which offers four times greater damage resistance.

For the camera wise, the iPhone 12 mini features a dual camera setup. It looks similar to the current iPhone 11 camera design. The iPhone 12 mini comes with a 12MP f/1.6 main camera and a 12MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle camera. This cameras supports up to 2x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom. Whenever it comes to Apple, it is always one of the best cameras. This means you don’t really have to worry about the camera in the iPhones.

Apart from that, Apple has also made changes to the software for the cameras. This includes Smart HDR3. Using its Neural Engine, the iPhone camera software can determine what changes are required for the captured photo. This change is done the moment you clicked on the shutter button. Besides that, Apple has also improved the Night Mode feature. Now, with the new wide camera, it allows 27% more light to enter into the lens. For selfie wise, there is a 12MP True Depth camera. With this camera, now Night Mode is supported too. Apple is also bringing its Deep Fusion to the front camera.

Under the hood, the iPhone 12 mini is powered by the Apple A14 Bionic chip. During the announcement event, Apple says that the A13 Bionic chip is already the most powerful until now. Yet, Apple has designed the first-ever 5nm processor which makes the most powerful processor ever for a smartphone. In the A14 Bionic chip, it features a 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. We can’t wait to test the speed of the iPhone 12 soon.

As usual, Apple is not revealing the battery capacity of the iPhone. This has been a trend for Apple to not reveal the battery capacity of its products. Apple is keeping it short and simple by saying the iPhone 12 mini gives you 15 hours of video playback, 10 hours of video streaming and audio playback up to 50 hours. Since Apple is not including the power brick in the box of the iPhone 12 mini, you can use the lightning to USB-C cable to connect to a 20W power brick for fast charging support. Using the 20W power adapter, Apple says that you can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Price and Availability

Now, we are coming to the important topic, pricing. With all these great features, what could be the pricing of the iPhone 12 mini? The iPhone 12 comes in three different storage options which are 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The 64GB storage option is priced at RM3,399. Whereas, the 128GB and 256GB storage option is priced at RM3,599 and RM4,099 respectively.

The iPhone 12 mini comes in five colours. Apple is launching the iPhone 12 mini with a brand new blue colour. Besides blue, there is black, white, red and green. Our favourite choice is obviously blue in colour. The iPhone 12 mini will be available for pre-order starting 6th of November.

In conclusion, the iPhone 12 mini is the world’s thinnest, smallest and lightest 5G smartphone. It is packed with some of the great features which the iPhone 12 Pro has. Next up, we will be updating the on the iPhone 12 Pro.

iPhone 12 mini

For the first time ever, Apple will be unveiling its mini smartphone. The only reason we can think of is to provide iPhone in an affordable prices for everyone. So, if any of you thinking to get an affordable smartphone, this could be your first choice.

From the picture above, the iPhone 12 mini surely seems to be smaller than the current iPhone 11. Besides that, the camera also looks like the iPhone 11 too. Probably the camera sensor might be different than the iPhone 11. And for the first time, Apple will be unveiling the iPhone 12 mini in Blue colours.

iPhone 12

Similar to the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 12 also will be available in Blue too. This is the iPhone which is the replacement for the current iPhone 11. The iPhone 12 will be coming in a total of five colours which are Blue, Black, Red, White and Green. At the moment, the internal specs of the iPhone 12 is not revealed yet.

iPhone 12 Pro

Next, is the flagship model which is the iPhone 12 Pro. This is one of our favourite models of the iPhone 12 series. If you take a look at the rear side of the iPhone 12 Pro, there are three cameras. And this is similar to the current iPhone 11 Pro. But, if you looked closely at the camera housing, there is another sensor. Well, that’s is rumoured to be the LiDAR sensor.

Honestly, we are not sure whether people are really going to make use of the iPhone 12 Pro LiDAR sensor. But, surely when we get our hands on the iPhone 12 Pro, we will give it a try of the LiDAR sensor.

iPhone 12 Pro Max

As usual, the larger iPhone 12 Pro Max is a larger iPhone than the iPhone 12 Pro. Design and colour wise, is similar to the iPhone 12 Pro. Even the cameras placement also are similar. One thing for sure, this is going to be the most expensive iPhone when Apple unveils it in another couple of minutes.

Overall, this is what we have for now. The complete specs will be unveiled soon after Apple unveils the iPhone 12 today. Stay tuned for more updates from us.

Here we go guys, we are in the month of October. This means it’s time for a new iPhone from Apple. Every year, Apple will be launching the iPhone on the month of September. However, this year due to the global pandemic Covid-19, Apple has delayed launching the iPhone this year. Today, Apple has finally confirmed that it will be launching the iPhone 12 on 13th October.

Similar to the previous Apple event, Apple will be streaming via its Apple website and Apple YouTube channel. If you notice the latest Apple event, it is clear that Apple has pre-recorded the event before the actual date. Honestly, the only event which we really enjoyed until the end is Apple’s event. The reason is because of the creativity from the Apple’s team.

The Apple “Hi, Speed” event will start at 10 AM PDT (1 AM MYT) on 13th October 2020. Viewers can continue to watch this event on both Apple’s website and Apple YouTube channel.

What to expect from Apple’s “Hi, speed” event

For this year, it is rumoured that Apple will be launching four different iPhone 12 models. But, another rumour says that Apple will be launching only two models of iPhone 12. The first one is the iPhone 12 and the next iPhone is the iPhone 12 mini. For those of you who are waiting for the iPhone 12 Pro models, you might need to wait a few weeks longer due to the shipment delay.

First of all, from the launch event poster it is written as “Hi, speed”. One thing we can confirm is, this year iPhone is going to have great performance. The main reason is because of Apple’s latest A14 Bionic chip. This is the similar processor which was used in the latest iPad Air 2020.

Another thing we can expect from Apple during next week launch event is the 5G connectivity. 5G means faster cellular network. It is rumoured that the iPhone 12 will be supporting 5G networks. That is the reason we are thinking that Apple is saying Hi to the speed.

In conclusion, Apple will be unveiling the latest iPhone next week. We are excited to share you guys on our first impression of the iPhone 12 series. Follow our Facebook page for more updates on the iPhone 12 series.
