iOS software is the core of the of Apple iPhone and iPad. Without the iOS operating system, people might not be using Apple devices. Apple just rolled out the latest iOS 13.5 software globally. This is one of the most important software update from Apple especially during this global pandemic COVID-19.

As you already know that due to the COVID-19, each and everyone of us have to wear our face mask whenever we go out. We need to wear the face mask at all time especially when we are leaving the house. We know how difficult is it to unlock your iPhone while wearing your face mask on. iPhone comes with the Face ID where you can unlock your iPhone less than a second.

But in this current situation, for sure that is not possible, because the Face ID will not be able to detect your face. For that purpose, Apple have rolled out a new feature in its iOS 13.5. In the latest software release, you can easily unlock your iPhone while wearing your face mask on. However, it doesn’t unlock your iPhone, but it will at least immediately, show you the passcode option. In the previous iOS software update, the Face ID will try to detect your face and it will request you to enter your passcode.

Besides that, in this latest iOS 13.5 software update, Apple has also introduced its COVID-19 exposure notification system. Back in April, Apple and Google have said that it will collaborate together to develop a solution for the COVID-19. As for now, Apple has already rolled out the first phase of its exposure notification system. In this latest update, it has released the COVID-19 exposure notification API which you can use in the third party COVID-19 exposure notification app.

In conclusion, this is one of the most important software update for the iOS devices. If you have an iPhone which hasn’t been updated with the latest iOS 13.5, then our advice to you would be immediately install it so that you can easily unlock your iPhone while wearing your face mask on.
