Two months ago, Xiaomi unveils the Redmi Note 8 series which are Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro in China. The Pro model was the one competing with Realme XT to be the world’s first smartphone to equipped with a 64MP camera. Now, Xiaomi Malaysia has already revealed the official launch date of Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro.
To recap, Redmi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53″ Full HD+ display. Back it has a quad-camera setup which features the 64MP camera lens. Under the hood, it runs on MediaTek G90T processor which is powered by the huge 4,500mAh battery.
For the Redmi Note 8, it comes with a smaller 6.3″ Full HD+ LCD display. It features a quad-camera setup too. However, the main camera is 48MP only. The other cameras are similar to the Note 8 Pro rear cameras. Besides that, the battery capacity also has been reduced to 4,000mAh. Despite that, it still supports the 18W fast charging technology.
Since Xiaomi Malaysia will unveil the Redmi Note 8 series on the 8th of October, there isn’t exact price reveal yet. But if you are looking for an affordable smartphone with high specs, you should consider the Note 8 Pro which could be priced below RM1,000.
