As you all already know that the Malaysia government have restricted Malaysians to move out from home through its Movement Control Order. Today is the second day of the MCO week and U Mobile has made announcement that it will be doubling the hotspot data quota.

We are sure many of you are staying at home. And some of you might be away from your family members. For those who are away from your family members especially students, can make use of this reasonable privilege. The “Hottest Spot” campaign starts from today onwards until 31st March 2020.

Currently, U Mobile will be offering double hotspot quota for its subscribers who subscribe to GX38 prepaid, GX50, GX68, Unlimited Hero P99 and Unlimited Hero P139 postpaid plan. According to U Mobile, the GX38 prepaid customers will receive a total of 6GB hotspot data. For the other postpaid subscribers will qualify for the 10GB, 60GB and 100GB hotspot data. The 100GB hotspot data is only applicable for subscribers who subscribed to the Unlimited Hero P139.

In conclusion, U Mobile believes that during the MCO period, people can stay at home and share their hotspot quota with their housemates. At the moment of writing this post, we also got to know that even Unifi Mobile is also offering 999GB hotspot data quota.
