In conjunction with its global launch last night, POCO has launched its latest M series which includes the M5 and M5s.
Starting with the POCO M5, it sports a larger 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch, a Full HD+ resolution, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Moreover, the gadget is powered by an Helio G99 CPU and features up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of battery, POCO M5 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
As for the camera, the M5 features a 50MP primary camera, as well as a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth camera. For a selfie camera, the smartphone utilizes an 8MP sensor.
Moving on to M5s, it features a 6.43-inch punch-hole AMOLED display in the centre. It comes with an Helio G96 CPU, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports up to 33W fast charging.
Looking at the camera, the M5s has a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth lens, all located on the device’s rear. One can take advantage of the front-facing 13-megapixel camera as well.

Both of these smartphones will be available for purchase on POCO’s official online stores on Lazada and Shopee. However, if you purchase POCO M5 and M5s from 7 to 14 September, the company will offer promotional prices for these devices.
For the mentioned configurations of M5, it will be priced at RM599 and RM699 respectively while POCO M5s will be offered at RM659 and RM849 respectively.
