Domino’s Pizza has made its app available on Apple CarPlay. This means customers can now order pizza while on the go, directly from their car. The app allows customers to skip long drive-thru lines and order pizza conveniently from their cars. The app is only available for iOS users.
There are two ways to order pizza through Domino’s app on CarPlay: “Tap to Order” and “Call to Order”. Tap to Order allows customers to quickly order their saved Easy Order or one of their recent orders. Call to Order lets them place an order hands-free by talking to a customer service representative. To use Tap to Order, customers must download Domino’s iPhone app, log into their Pizza Profile, and have a saved Easy Order or recent order.
Christopher Thomas-Moore, Domino’s chief digital officer, said the company knows waiting in a drive-thru line can be frustrating, so they created the app on CarPlay as a solution. With this app, customers can order from their car, without waiting in a long line. The app is part of Domino’s AnyWare platform, which lets customers order pizza from wherever they are and with any device they prefer. Other AnyWare platforms include ordering through an Apple Watch or by using an emoji via text.
