The OPPO A17, the newest member of the company’s A-series family of smartphones, was released in Malaysia today. Let’s proceed with the specification and features that might capture your attention.
To start, the A17 has 4GB of RAM and supports OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology, which allows the device to gain up to 4GB extra RAM by using its 64GB storage. Moreover, the device is designed with a 6.56″ HD+ LCD with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.ย
Moving on, the A17 is powered by a 5000mAh battery with several battery-saving features like Super Power Saving Mode and Super Nighttime Standby. Other prominent features include Android 12 via ColorOS 12.1, IPX4 water resistance, and USB-C connectivity.
In terms of camera, the 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera with fixed focus has a waterdrop notch. A 50MP f/1.8 primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor are located on the back. AI, 360-degree Fill Light, Portrait Retouching, and HDR are just some of the photography technologies found in the primary camera setup.
The phone is currently available in Malaysia for RM 599 for a singular 4/64GB configuration. Interestingly, the smartphone is also available in two colour variants (Lake Blue and Midnight Black) and features a composite processed leather-like back cover.
Furthermore, it is also up for pre-order in Singapore, but the pricing there is yet to be confirmed.
