Why X TV App Fails to Impress Because of Poor Content Quality?

The new X TV app has thrown its hat into the streaming arena. And its owner, Elon Musk, has just announced that the app is now live for some Amazon Fire TVs, Google TVs, and a smattering of LG panels. If your TV isn’t one of these models, there’s no need to panic. In any case, the beta app probably offers little.

The X TV teaser video promised a functioning streaming interface of various video links, but the real app for Amazon Fire TVs is considerably less exciting. It’s little more than a vehicle for the video delivery system of the X platform, requiring an account on X to function. It’s a handpicked list of already existing X videos.

 X TV app

The content provided through the X TV app is very limited. For example, the initial recommendations included some controversial and politically charged videos. In its nature, the offerings on the app borrow much from the conservative leanings of the user base. While the strong focus might lure a particular cadre of users, it limits the general appeal of the app.

 X TV app

Despite big-name announcements, there is very little content on X TV that impresses. Big names such as Khloé Kardashian and Don Lemon were onboard with video plans, many of which have encountered delays. Content for the app is scanty at the moment compared to other more established competitors like Rumble.

Musk said that X TV would be available on home TV screens soon. Details remain fuzzy, but what little the app does suggests it has a long way to go. For now, its appeal is mainly a function of its content and device compatibility.

HUAWEI to Reveal ‘Unique’ Foldable Phone on September

Reading Time: 2 minutes read

HUAWEI has announced the big event for September 10 at 2:30 PM GMT+8. The company says it will reveal what it refers to as its “most leading, innovative and disruptive product.” CEO Richard Yu labeled it “epoch-making,” saying no competitor can match it. So, it appears we are going to get some sort of reveal of some kind of actual groundbreaking innovation.

Triple-Screen Foldable Phone

Sources say HUAWEI will introduce a foldable phone that bends twice. There are two hinges, and the model folds into the shape of Z when folded. If unfolded, this is destined to carry a 10-inch screen, larger than most current models. This is going to be a leap in the realm of foldable phones.

Triple-Screen Foldable Phone

Leaks have suggested that the new device might come in thinner than another foldable phone. Richard Yu has been spotted with the phone on at least two occasions, which likely means it’s sleek enough to wear. This could turn out to be one of those moments where the aesthetics and practical use of the foldable phone started to shift.

But it will not carry the Google Mobile Services on the new HUAWEI phone. Because of the continued trade restrictions, HUAWEI could not use the software developed by Google to its full capacity. Yet, it is most expected to come up with some alternatives for the users of that gadget.

Triple-Screen Foldable Phone

September is shaping up to be a pretty busy month for any tech lover. In addition to HUAWEI’s big announcement, Apple intends to make an announcement on the 9th of September for the iPhone 16 series. Plus, IFA 2024 is full of tech announcements.
