Home Box Office (HBO) indeed is the channel which has all the box office movies. HBO has its own video streaming service called HBO Go. This is one of the streaming services which offers service like Netflix and iFlix. Yesterday, HBO Asia announces its streaming service, HBO Go will be available in Malaysia starting May 1 onwards. This announcement was done through a press statement to the public.
According to the press statement, HBO Asia says, the HBO Go streaming service will be launch exclusively for Astro Subscribers. The other interesting thing is, if you have subscribed to the Astro Movie Pack then you can use the HBO Go for free. Other Astro subscribers without subscribing to the Astro Movie Pack will have to pay separately in order to use the service.
HBO Asia says all its subscribers will have full access to the HBO libraries of original content such as movies, series and also documentaries. Are you a fan of Game of Thrones? Then you should be able to watch each premiere episode same time as in the US. This means you won’t have to wait for the episodes to telecast on other channels. Users also will have exclusive access to the behind scenes of the series and movies. You can even watch trailers of its upcoming movies.
According to Astro director of content, Agnes Rozario says Astro is excited to launch HBO Go in Malaysia starting next month. Users who are paying RM71.95 for the Astro Movies Pack can enjoy this additional service for free. Indeed it would be a great addition to the movies package says the Astro director of content.

You can download the HBO Go app from the App Store and Google Play Store for free. You can also access their service via web browsers. The app also supports AirPlay features. This means you can directly play the content from your smartphone to your TV.
