EcoFlow, a US-based power generating and storing startup that made $220 million in revenue last year, is now looking to expand into Malaysia and Singapore.
With a high-capacity power station as its centrepiece, the company was founded in 2016 by Eli Harris, Fan Zheng, Hannah Sieber, and Lei Wang to offer a sustainable alternative to traditional gas-powered infrastructure. The company offers portable power and renewable energy solutions and has established flagship stores on renowned online-shopping platforms including Shopee in Malaysia and Lazada in both Singapore and Malaysia.

Following its success in the Western market, EcoFlow is positive that its first ventures into the Asian market will provide comparable, if not greater, results. During the recent Texas winter storms, solar-powered portable power stations were used to help those in need as well as to power enjoyable activities like glamping.

Furthermore, this company’s Delta series is particularly well-known for having won four iF (Industrial Forum) Design Awards in April 2022. In fact, TIME Magazine has selected the Delta Pro as one of the 100 Best Inventions of 2021 in the Sustainability category, describing it as one of the inventions “that are making the world better, smarter, and even a little more fun.”

Delta Pro is an ecosystem that allows its users to track and ultimately reduce their utility bills. Its primary purpose is to provide backup power during power outages and to have better control over one’s daily power consumption. EcoFlow’s goal is to revolutionise the world’s energy infrastructure, and this system helps them get closer to that goal by making renewable batteries that are quieter, lighter, and have a longer lifespan.

The Delta Pro ecosystem is the most-funded tech project on Kickstarter to date, with nearly US$12 million raised at the end of a campaign. In just one hour, the high-capacity home battery and some supporting accessories had earned more than USD1 million in investments, exceeding the US$100,000 goal.
Besides, the DELTA Pro, DELTA Max, 400W Solar Panel, and Smart Generator were also honoured with iF Design Awards, where the jury recognises design achievements in the products, communication and service design, user experience and interface, and packaging, among other categories.

EcoFlow has been successful in more than a hundred markets since its founding because of its dedication to customer satisfaction. Most notably, customers have reported feeling secure with the company’s Delta and River portable power stations.
Other than that, EcoFlow also offers the River series of products, which includes four portable power stations with 600W output. They are marketed as the lightest and most powerful portable generators in the market, with a weight range of 2.86 to 7.6 kilogrammes.

For those who are interested, you can now purchase both Delta and River series on Lazada Malaysia and Lazada Singapore.
