Taking the EKF reading is very simple. You just have to open the EKG app on your Apple Watch Series 4 and then place your index finger on the crown of the watch. What it does is, it records the EKG and your heart beat stores inside the Health app. Then you can send the PDF report to your doctor for further details on your health.
