After a few years, Apple announces the new version of the iPod Touch. The new version of the iPod comes with Apple’s own A10 Fusion chip. Previously, this chip is installed on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The design of the iPod touch is still the same as the previous generation iPod touch.

The iPod touch has a 4.4- inch screen with the same usual bezels on the previous generation of iPhones. If you are expecting the iPod touch to be similar to the current iPhone, you might not be getting the Touch ID. The home button is still placed in the iPod Touch. Back in 2015, Apple launches the last edition of the iPod touch. By including the A10 Fusion chip, we can expect Apple to include features such as ARKit and Group FaceTime.

Apple’s new iPod touch comes with a 256GB storage. This means you can store thousands of songs directly inside your new iPod touch. Other than that, Apple also offers various storage options for the iPod touch such as 32GB for $199, 128GB for $299, and 256GB for $399.

In conclusion, it is slightly disappointing to see Apple, not including the latest gen of Apple’s A11 chip to the new iPod touch. However, we can expect some update on the iPod touch during Apple’s WWDC.
