Yesterday, Xiaomi took the stage to unveils two new products which are the Mi 9 Pro 5G and Mi Full Screen TV Pro. Other than that, Xiaomi also announces Mi Mix Alpha and the all-new MIUI11. First, we will talk about the Mi 9 Pro and then we will move on to the Mi Full Screen TV Pro.
Affordable 5G smartphone from Xiaomi
According to Xiaomi, this is the second Mi series to be equipped with 5G technology. Previously, Mi Mix 3 5G was equipped with 5G technology. With the Mi 9 Pro 5G, Xiomio is working closely with major China telco providers where it can provide full 5G coverage with its new 7-antenna design. This means you can hold your device in both portrait and landscape orientation without losing your 5G connection.
Under the hood, Mi 9 Pro 5G runs on Snapdragon 855+ chipset with a vapour chamber cooling system. Mobile gamers can play continuously without worrying about overheating the phone. The graphics performance has been increased to 15% with the new Snapdragon 855+ chipset.
With the Snapdragon chipset, Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G is mated with a RAM up to 12GB and storage up to 512GB. That’s almost equivalent to the current specs for a PC or laptop. According to Xiaomi, you can store nearly 100,000 photos, download 10,289 TV episodes, or install 643 large mobile applications.
Charges your phone battery to 100% within 48-minutes
All this performance is being powered by a huge 4,000mAh battery. Now you can use Xiaomi’s 40W fast wired charging. You can completely charge your phone to 100% in just 48 minutes. At the same time, Xiaomi also now introduces 30W fast wireless charging technology. Using the 30W wireless fast wireless charging technology you can charge your battery to 100% within 69 minutes. The Mi 9 Pro 5G also supports 10W wireless reverse charging. You can charge other Qi-compatible devices such as the iPhone, headphones, toothbrushes, and razors.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G features triple camera AI setup which is similar to the current Mi 9 flagship. It has a 48MP main camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12MP telephoto lens. With the AI support, you can shoot ultra-wide mode of architecture and group photos. Other than that, Mi 9 Pro 5G also supports moon mode. Pricing and Availability
For the pricing wise, the base model which is the 8GB+128GB variant starts from RMB3,699 (RM2,175). The 8GB+256GB model will cost you around RMB3,799 (RM2,233). Both the 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB are priced at RMB4,099 (RM2,410) and RMB4,299 (RM2,527) respectively. At this moment, there are no official dates revealed by Xiaomi for its global launch. Mi Full Screen TV Pro: Affordable 8K Smart TV
The Mi Full Screen TV Pro is one of Xiaomi’s new product launch yesterday. This is a smart TV which adopts the 4K panel. This TV has a 97% screen-to-body ratio which almost makes the TV bezel-less. Take a look at a few of the sample images below.
Powering the Mi Full Screen TV Pro is the mlogic T972 processor with a quad-core A55 architecture (up to 1.9GHz). Moreover, it features a 2GB+32GB storage for enhanced user experience. With all this high-performance chipset, the Mi Full Screen TV Pro supports 8K video playback using 4K output.
Pricing and Availability
The Mi Full Screen TV Pro is available in three sizes: 43โ, 55โ and 65โ and priced at RMB1,499 (RM881), RMB2,399 (RM1,410) and RMB3,399 (RM1,198), respectively. You can start to pre-order the TV starting on September 24 at 6 PM. Three days later, you can purchase the Mi Full Screen TV Pro via Xiaomi official website at 10 AM.
