Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi 14T series in Malaysia as the official release. The series includes two models, the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro. The only difference between the two is that, the standard model is slightly smaller than that of the camera island. Both phones have a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen density of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a dynamic refresh rate of 144Hz.
Like the Xiaomi 14T, the Pro comes with a Leica-optimized triple rear camera system. This setup includes a 50MP which is a primary camera that has an optical image stabilization. The periscope and super-wide lenses step in as the second and third modules to multiply the shooting capabilities. Besides this, both the models have the same front selfie camera of 32MP.
The fundamental distinction is made based on the equipment installed internally in the car. The regular Xiaomi 14T comes with a Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip. Still, to be an upper mid-ranger the Pro variant comes with a more powerful processor called Dimensity 9300+. Both models provide such options for RAM as 12 GB and for storage as 512 GB or 1 TB.
Speaking of battery, this is where both models are equipped with the same Non-removable Li-polymer 5000 mAh battery. However, the Pro supports 120W charging, up from 67W on the regular version. Most notably, there is the Wireless charging icon which is only available for the Pro model. Both phones also come with enhanced connecting features, 5G, Wi-Fi, NFC, etc.
Last, the Xiaomi 14T costs RM1,899 while the 14T Pro costs RM2,599. They can however be ordered from Xiaomi’s official online shops and other electronics retail stores in Malaysia.
