Back on 5th July 2023, Meta has launched a new app called Threads. According to Mark Zuckerberg, this is the app which was created to rival Elon Musk X. One year later, the X clone platform has now over 175 million active users in a month.
Until now, the numbers do not look huge to Meta as their other platforms have more than 1 billion active monthly users. Yet, we believe this should be celebrated by everyone since there has been a steady growth since 2023.
During the first launch of Threads, we saw there were many celebrities were signing up for the Threads app. The moment when Threads was launched, it was like this was the next big thing from Meta after Facebook and Instagram. But for now, Threads is still a loss for Meta financially.
