The Galaxy Unpacked 2022 not only witnessed the launching of foldable smartphones but also the unboxed of its latest smartwatch series, the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and its pro variant, the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro.

Looking at the display, the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 40mm model has a 1.2-inch 396 x 396 display while the larger 44mm Watch5 model and the Pro model have a similar 1.4-inch 450 x 450 display. In terms of battery capacity, the devices are equipped with different battery sizes. The Pro model has the largest at 590mAh, the 40mm base model has a 284mAh battery, and the 44mm Galaxy Watch5 model has a 410mAh battery.
Standard Galaxy Watch5 will be available in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm, with three colour options for each. All of these will be encased in Armour Aluminium and will come with a basic sports band. The Pro model is only available in 45mm and in the colours Black Titanium and Grey Titanium. It also includes a magnetic D-Buckle.
The Exynos W920 chip powers both the standard and Pro variants, which are paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Moreover, the ability to check the temperature using an infrared temperature sensor might be the most notable feature of the Galaxy Watch5 Series.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 starts at RM1099, while the Pro model will cost RM1899, with pre-orders beginning today and running until September 1st.
