TIME Internet Rolls Out Flexible One-Year Internet Deal for Tenants and Movers

Reading Time: < 1 minute read

Recently, TIME Internet introduced a new 12-month internet bundle intended for tenants and people who move around a lot. It has a contract duration that corresponds to the annual rental rate, so you can be sure you’ll always have internet access and won’t have to pay hefty termination penalties at the end of the term.

According to the ISP’s support page, users are unable to switch from the new 12-month plan to a 24-month option or the other way around. As long as it is provided under the same contract plan, you can opt to upgrade or downgrade to a different speed. Moving can only be done for free after your contract expires and is only permitted if your new location is within TIME’s service region.

Three alternatives for the new plans are available:

  • 200Mbps (with 200Mbps upload) for RM119/month
  • 600Mbps (with 500Mbps upload) for RM159/month
  • 1Gbps (with 500Mbps upload) for RM219/month

In any case, TIME will also include a WiFi 6 mesh router; however, the 1Gbps option is the only one that receives the extra WiFi 6 mesh device.

Tesla Investors Reaffirm $44.9 Billion Pay Deal for Elon Musk

After having been pared back from an original $55 billion value, Tesla shareholders voted recently to reinstate CEO Elon Musk’s compensation package. This came after the January declaration by a Delaware judge that the deal was “deeply flawed” because of issues about the negotiation process and because Musk was personally related to the negotiators.

The original lawsuit challenged Musk’s compensation level and package, brought in April 2023 on behalf of all Tesla shareholders. This package was such that Honorary Chancellor Kathleen St. Jude McCormick rebuked this statement as being “the largest potential compensation opportunity ever observed in the public markets by several orders of magnitude.”

Despite the most recent vote by shareholders endorsing the all-stock compensation plan, the lawsuit, at best is far from finished. Following a prolonged appeal process that is expected to take months to conclude, this case will land in Delaware courts, and more likely, the Supreme Court.

Regarding his pay from Tesla, Musk is still under investigation. In January 2024, Investopedia listed Musk as the richest person in the world with a net worth of $229 billion.

For instance, Magic Portal makes purchasing easier by enabling users to quickly search for an exact item on e-commerce platforms with only a single drag when they come across a photo of a stunning outfit on social media.

AI Air Gesture and AI Blur Private Info

Greasy smears are frequently left on a phone’s screen, particularly when the device is being used while eating with the hands extended. With this capability, we can take screenshots, go up and down on specific programs, switch between the front and rear cameras, and even shoot pictures without touching the screen. By securely processing user data on the device and including Blur Private Info in the HONOR 200, HONOR places a high priority on user privacy. Before sending an image, this feature blurs private information such as names, passwords, and phone numbers straight from the Share menu.

Magic Capsule

It frequently takes a few taps to reach extra menus or notifications while using frequently used phone features. With Magic Capsule, users may quickly access pertinent information and crucial features for taking prompt action by simply tapping on a notification. This eliminates the need for users to laboriously traverse between numerous menus, including those for the Timer, Alarm, Screencasting, phone calls, and more.

Exclusive AI Motion Sensing Capture and AI Natural Tone 2.0

With AI Motion Sensing Capture, a technology first seen on the HONOR Magic5 series, the HONOR 200 Pro can take clear, detailed pictures even when the subject is moving. MediaTek’s Foray into AI PC Chipsets Signals a New Era in Silicon Competition

    Reading Time: 2 minutes read

In tech changes, MediaTek, a chipmaker from Taiwan, is getting set to mix up the market with a new AI PC chip set to come out in late 2025. Reuters says this move is to fight big names like Intel, Nvidia, AMD, and Qualcomm. MediaTek’s move comes as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite gains notice as a likely rival to Apple’s MacBook Air. MediaTek aims to use its smarts to get in on this good market, aiming at the Microsoft Copilot Plus PC plan.

Teaming Up with Nvidia and Arm

MediaTek isn’t just making its own chip; it’s also teaming up with big players like Nvidia. News says MediaTek may be part of a project with Nvidia for a chip for video games, sort of like the Steam Deck. Even though Nvidia can make its own Arm chips, teaming up with MediaTek could bring big pluses. MediaTek’s skill as a chipmaker, good at using Arm’s plans, gives Nvidia a chance to mix up where it gets chips.

    Arm’s Ready-Made Designs: A Game-Changer

Arm’s “plans made in advance” make a big mark on MediaTek’s chip making, which helps them get to market fast. This also puts MediaTek in a spot to fight against Qualcomm, as Arm’s plans let them make chips fast.

The Road Ahead for AI PC Chips

With MediaTek’s move, and with plans from Nvidia and AMD for Arm-based PC chips, the race in the AI PC chip market is heating up. As MediaTek gets set to launch its new chip, the tech world waits to see how this move will change the future of AI in computers.
