Once upon time, Motorola Razr was one of the hot selling phone in the market. Then later on, consumers did not really receive Motorola phones well in the market. Few months back we got to know Motorola is planning to bring back its Razr model back to the market. The main changes will be, it might be the companies first foldable smartphone.

Now as Samsung postpones the Galaxy Fold launch, Motorola seems to be working to release its first foldable smartphone soon by this year. According to PhoneArena, few pictures of the Motorola Razr has been leaked online. Part of the leak images is the new Razr box packaging image has been leak too.

It seems Motorola, is not following Samsung or Huawei footsteps. Both tech giants are making the foldable device as a tablet. Motorola is following the same old factor of the flip phone. The main changes from the original flip phone are the screen and the keypad will be removed. The front of the Razr will be a 6.2″ display with a 22:0 ratio.

Remember the RAZR V3?

The Motorola Razr will come with a second display with 600×800 resolution. This screen will be used to mainly access notification and widgets. According to PhoneArena, the Razr smartphone will not have the front facing camera on the inside. This means you might need to use the rear camera from the secondary display to take selfies. This seems slightly confusing for us though. We will update you all once there is an official confirmation from Motorola itself.

Inside the Motorola Razr packaging box?

From the packaging of the Motorola Razr, few things we can notice. First of all, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack to USB-type C adapter. This means the Motorola Razr will not have the headphone jack. Motorola will ship the USB-C earphones with the Motorola Razr.

In conclusion, this could possibly be the return of the Motorola Razr smartphone. More details on the specs will be updated once official confirmation is received from Motorola. As for now, the expected price of this smartphone is $1,500 (RM6,200).
