The renowned automotive company, Hyundai yesterday revealed its first model of electric sedan, the Ioniq 6. The South Korean automaker has taken this step to further extend its share and brand recognition in the global electric vehicle (EV) market that is known to be dominated by Tesla Inc.
This innovative vehicle is designed with the Ioniq 6’s 77.4-kilowatt-hour battery that enables a driving range of about 610 km on a single charge, approximately 30% more than the previous Ioniq 5 crossover. It only takes under 18 min charging time to reach up to 80% capacity.

Moreover, the exterior design of Ioniq 6 presents an aesthetic curvy aerodynamic front design that minimizes air resistance, ensuring a smooth and dynamic driving experience. Not only that but the digital rearview mirror is also equipped with cameras and OLED displays connected with the dashboard to give drivers a clearer and wider perspective even during bad weather.
On top of that, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 contains powerful acceleration that reaches 100km/h in 5.1 seconds and a top speed of 185km/h. In addition, the four-door sedan is expected to come in two configurations namely single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive.

In terms of its interior design, the Ioniq 6 is tailored to provide maximum relaxation and comfortable space to its drivers with different USB ports available such as USB Type-C and USB Type-C. It is convenient for long-distance traveling and for those who need to get some work done on the road! One of the key features includes the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display with a 12.3-inch digital cluster that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The production is said to begin this year and will be available for sale in the United States in early 2023. However, there is no confirmation regarding the model’s pricing and the actual date of its availability in other regions.
