Reading Time: 2 minutes read

Dyson has just announced its inaugural pair of headphones, the Dyson OnTrac™. The device was developed with emphasis placed on higher sound quality—these headphones will deliver an immersive experience with an advanced noise-cancellation system. The Dyson custom ANC algorithm utilizes eight microphones, sampling external sounds 384,000 times a second. It can cancel as much as 40dB of unwanted noise.

The frequency range of the sound produced by the Dyson OnTrac™ headphones is impressive. They reproduce frequencies from 6Hz to 21kHz, revealing hidden details. They feature 40mm neodymium speaker drivers for delivering accurate audio. Their internal geometry enhances both sound quality and comfort.

Another high point has to be the battery life of the Dyson OnTrac™ headphones. Here, users can enjoy up to 55 hours of playback with ANC on. High-capacity lithium-ion batteries are positioned for balance within the headband. A simple double tap in the ear cups switches ANC on and off.
