One of the most famous eWallet providers in Malaysia is Touch ‘n Go eWallet. There are other eWallet providers such as Boost and GrabPay. However, these eWallets could not provide what TNG eWallet can provide us. That is its new Park ‘n Go feature.

With the new Park ‘n Go feature, you don’t have to worry about street parking tickets. You know sometimes when you have urgent things to do and that’s the time you got to know that you don’t have your parking ticket. Now, you can worry less because you can use your TNG eWallet to pay your street parking.

Currently, TNG has launched this service in a few town councils which are DBKL, Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya, Perbadanan Putrajaya, Majlis Daerah Kuala Langat and Majlis Perbandaran Kota Bharu. There’s still no confirmation yet whether TNG is planning to roll out this service in Northern Regions too.

Here’s how to use Park ‘n Go street parking

First of all in order to use the Park ‘n Go feature, you need to download the TNG eWallet app which is available for both iOS and Android. Then you have to create an account and then launch the TNG eWallet app. Now you should be able to see a “Parking” icon. Tap the icon and then select “Pay For Parking Now”.

Make sure you add your vehicle number and description. The reason is because some of the users have multiple vehicles. So with the description, you managed your vehicles easily. Next, you should select the parking location from the list and also the duration. But before that, you need to enter the One Time Pin (OTP) for verification before confirming your payment.

You might be thinking about what happens if the parking duration expires. Well, the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app will send you a notification 15-minutes before the expiry. You can decide whether you want to extend your parking using the TNG eWallet app. This can be done easily without you walking yourself to the car and extend the parking duration. Here’s the video tutorial on how to use the Park ‘n Go feature.

In conclusion, this is something we need in Malaysia. Finding parking is already hectic. Additionally, finding for either a parking meter or parking ticket is worst than that. We believe that this service can really help Malaysians to Park ‘n Go their vehicle easily.
