A few weeks ago, Digi introduces a new postpaid plan to support the person with disabilities by giving RM10 lifetime rebate. Now, its Maxis turn to show its support to the OKU people. Maxis is also offering RM10 lifetime rebate when OKU customers sign up for the Hotlink Postpaid Flex plan. This plan comes with unlimited calls and SMS to all networks.

Maxis originally introduces the Hotlink Flex postpaid plan back in 2018. This plan comes in a three tier. The basic plan comes with 1GB data and unlimited calls and SMS. The plan starts from RM30 per month for normal subscribers. However, if you have a valid OKU card, you can subscribe to this plan for RM20 per month. If you are an OKU person, you can sign up for the second tier plan which comes with 5GB of data for RM30 per month only.

You can sign up to this plan at any of the Maxis Centre or Maxis Exclusive Partners by just showing your identification card and your OKU card. Interestingly, Maxis is not only offering this rebate to a new customer, even if you are an existing Hotlink Flex subscriber, but you can also proceed to the Maxis stores to apply for the RM10 rebate per month.

Other than that, there are an Unlimited Apps add-ons which you can purchase for a cheap price. People who are active on social media can purchase the Unlimited Social add-ons for RM10 per month. There are other two add-ons also specifically for music listeners and for people who always chat via WhatsApp and WeChat.

In conclusion, this new rebate service is part of Maxis commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #10. Soon we are sure Celcom and U Mobile could offer the same for the person with disabilities. For more info visit the Hotlink FAQ page.
