HONOR recently unveiled the latest addition to its line of products including its mid-range smartphone, the HONOR 70.ย Even though there are also the Pro and Pro+ variations, only the standard model of the HONOR 70 Series was introduced in Malaysia. The device will be officially available across the country on August 27th.
HONOR 70 Specification
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ and features a 6.67-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, and curved edges. The Malaysian specifications include 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and the Magic UI 6.1 skin on top of Android 12.
The ultimate feature that HONOR 70 would bring to the table is its camera setup. The smartphone makes its debut as the worldโs first smartphone to feature the IMX800 sensor which is paired with an f/1.9 lens.
In addition to the 2MP depth sensor, the device is also equipped with a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 122-degree field of view, an f/2.2 aperture, and macro shooting down to 2.5 centimetres.
The HONOR 70 has a 32-megapixel (MP) f/2.4 punch-hole camera in the top middle of the display for taking selfies.
In terms of battery, HONOR 70 is packed with a 4,800mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging which it can be charged up to 60% just within 20 minutes, as the company claimed.

The HONOR 70 may be pre-ordered in three colour variations:
