Google will be having its 2019 I/O developer conference today in the US. Malaysians can watch the live stream of the event midnight around 2 am. Before Google makes official announcement of its car infotainment system, Google has updates the Android Auto design by having Dark Mode feature by default. This was not available in the previous version of the Android Auto.
As part of this new refresh design, Android Auto will have a navigation bar at the bottom of its user interface. Previously, it only has a static button on a black background. This new version of Android Auto will allow apps to take over a section of the navigation bar rather than taking over the full screen. If you are using Google Maps as your navigation app, rather opening in a full screen, now the navigation bar will show the next step in the turn-by-turn directions.
