If you are among the consumers who have been waiting for ages for the new Touch ’n Go Card to be restocked, tomorrow might be your luck!
As reported by Lowyat.net, they recently received a notification from the TNG eWallet app that says a new batch of the Enhanced Touch ’n Go Card will be on sale on 25 August at 10 am. However, for this new batch, each customer will be limited to only one card, unlike the previous batch where you can order a maximum of two cards per person.

Here’s what you need to do to buy the card if you are a first-timer. First of all, you need to launch the TNG eWallet app. Next, tap on the TNG Card section. Then, tap on ‘Order Touch ’n Go Card/ Check Status and you can proceed to press the ‘Order Now’ option.

If there is a popped-up message saying that the item is out of stock, you might want to press the ‘Yes, Notify Me’ button to receive an update if the card is to be restocked. So you can try it out tomorrow and see whether you are able to get the card!
Touch ’n Go Malaysia in its Facebook post explains that the limited stock is due to a global semiconductor chip shortage and supply chain disruptions caused by unexpected global events, which caused the demand for the Enhanced Touch ‘n Go card to exceed the supply.

It is understandable that many people are eager to get their hands on the new card so much so that they are willing to buy it at higher prices from other unauthorized sellers. Therefore, the company advised customers to only purchase from their official hubs in NU Sentral and Bangsar South, or through the Touch ‘n Go eWallet at the retail price of RM10.
