The open payment system makes toll payments faster and more convenient for drivers.

Nanta said that the open toll payment system is a preparation for the new MLFF system. MLFF will be implemented in phases by Q3 2024.

DUKE Highway is going to implement an open toll payment system. This means tolls can be paid without stopping at toll booths. The implementation of this system will be done in phases, and it’s expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2024.DUKE will also become the second location for MLFF (Multi-Lane Free Flow) trials, which is an advanced toll system that uses cameras and sensors to detect and charge tolls automatically without the need for toll booths. Other highways that have already implemented the open toll system include the Sungai Besi Expressway, New Pantai Expressway, and Guthrie Corridor Expressway.
