Shortly after launching the Blade A35, ZTE announced the Blade A55. Now, the new entry-level phone is listed on ZTE’s Malaysian website alongside other retailers. The Blade A55 will sell for RM369, which is RM50 more than the previous generation.

The Blade A55 features a 6.75-inch 720p LCD. It also had the brand’s very own Live Island interactive notch feature for an enhanced user experience. On the inside, it runs with a Unisoc SC9863A chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It does have a microSD card slot if one wishes to expand storage.

Cameras on the A55 include a 13MP primary shooter with a depth sensor for photography. Up at the front is an 8MP selfie camera. The phone gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery supporting 10W charging. For connectivity, it has an option for 4G, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

There will be three colors for the A55, black, blue, and orange. A company representative has confirmed the price and availability. At this price point and with the features included, the Blade A55 proves to be a very competitive entry-level offering.
