Back in May 2019 during the F8 conference, Facebook made an announcement that it will be redesigning the Facebook web app. Then this year April 2020, Facebook has rolled out its new design worldwide for users to try it. Well, Facebook has given the option to switch back to the “classic” design if you don’t like the new redesign of Facebook. Sadly, by September, this option will be long gone.
Most of the Facebook users might be receiving the pop-up notice from Facebook regarding Facebook’s newly redesigned look. From the notice, it is clearly stated that Facebook will be removing the classic Facebook switching option from the Settings. This means, your Facebook will be changed to the new-look starting September onwards.
Part of the newly redesigned look of Facebook is the added Dark Mode feature. During the F8 conference, Mark Zuckerberg announces that Facebook website soon will be having the Dark Mode feature. With the newly redesigned website, you will be given the option to enable the Dark Mode feature too. Personally, we prefer Dark Modes, especially, when most of the time we used Facebook during the night only.
