After its US release in June, the Yaber T2 Plus has made a final stop in Malaysia. This projector doubles as a speaker and arrived two months ago on the local shores. The 29 cm high projector is more of a speaker than it is a projector, so the design overall leans towards versatility.
The Yaber T2 Plus is sizeable but still manageable at 2.4 kg. It features a handle acting as a stand, providing a 15-degree upward tilt for the projector. Battery life reaches as much as 18 hours of playtime with just the speaker on, though that number plummets to a mere 2.5 hours when the projector is on. Resolution is full HD, and brightness comes in at 450 ANSI lumens.
The main difference that distinguishes the Yaber T2Plus from the regular model is that it features a Google TV dongle, further giving it distinction from the basic model not available locally. This makes it more functional and provides complete entertainment.
The price for the Yaber T2 Plus is RM1,799 and is now available at official Shopee and Lazada stores. If you prefer to buy it in-store, it will be on the shelves starting 26 August.
All things considered, the Yaber T2 Plus does bring out a good balance between projecting and listening. The inclusion of dual functionality and the Google TV dongle makes this projector a very notable addition to the portable projector market.
