Xiaomi recently released its debut tablet in Malaysia, the Redmi Pad which retailed at RM899. The tablet will be offered in three colours namely graphite grey, moonlight silver, and mint green. If you are on the lookout for a new tablet, check out the device’s specifications.
To start, the new Redmi Pad features a 10.6-inch IPS LCD screen with 1200 x 2000 px resolution and a 90 Hz adaptive refresh rate. In addition to being the first tablet in the world to gain SGS low visual fatigue certification, the screen also has a peak brightness of 400 nits.
Moving on, the tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor. It also comes with A Mali G57 MC2 GPU and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. As for the battery capacity, there is a large 8000mAh battery that can last all day with support for 18W fast charging, which is one of its standout features.
As for the camera setup, the Redmi Pad has a single camera module with 8 MP resolution, which is located on the device’s rear. There’s a second 8MP camera up front, and it comes with the 105-degree viewing angle and FocusFrame function. Furthermore, the device is equipped with four Dolby Atmos sound systems and Android 12 with MIUI 13.
The Redmi Pad is offered in three configurations:
- 3GB + 64GB – RM 899
- 4GB + 128GB – RM 999
- 6GB + 128GB – RM 1099
