Apple has long been eyeing for a TV. Steve Jobs described in 2011 that Apple had effectively cracked it. Still, there is not an Apple TV set. Still, Apple has considered it more than once. The one time it created giant mock-ups that in one or another can also pass as a Mac or iPad.
Finally, Apple can no longer pursue the project because of several reasons. There were difficulties exist in the TV market. They are used in low-margin goods and involve the customer in a low frequency of repeat purchases. Also, there were high costs to produce the devices – a factor that complicated Apple’s decision whether to go on with the project.

The earliest reference Apple made to TV came in 2019, however. However, the firm developed its strategy of concentrating on apps and streaming services. Thus, joining other TV makers, Apple has selected another strategy of development. By doing so Apple TV+ was able to tap into even more people than building the actual hardware would have been possible.
At present, Apple is betting on new appliances for smart homes. One such thing is a wall-mounted tablet, which means that the company’s interest in TVs is still alive. However, market and cost issues might still threaten the progress achieved.

Instead, the announcement by Apple of further dissection of the TV project indicates that the work is not completely abandoned. Some of the gadgets have been designed upfront, and Apple TV could be among the company’s daring ventures. It adds that if the company can overcome market hurdles, it may well find itself with its very own TV.
Whenever Apple has started working on new products, fans are always waiting to see the next step by Apple in this segment.
