Apple’s plan to redesign its self-driving car as electric vehicles has been put to rest. In this year, it became known that since 2016 Apple has been working on creating an autonomous vehicle. But now this ambitious project has been left halfway.
This decision was greatly influenced by technological difficulties that were faced. Apple’s self-driving tech is not mature enough. Thirdly, the Constant shift in project requirements also posed a big set back was also a sign of poor project management and planning since the project had many changes in its requirements.

In confirmation, Apple also terminated its California self-driving car test permit. Apple filed the project on September 25 in order to stop it. The permit was formally granted until September 27.
It obtained this testing permit in 2017. The first expiration was planned for April 2025. However, due to there being no actual car being produced, Apple didn’t need it anymore.

However, Hyundai has rejected Apple’s partner as well as the carmaker for Apple. These discussions ceased and Hyundai continued with its line of electric vehicles. Currently, Hyundai is among the leading ten international producers of electric vehicles.
The unannounced car project serves as evidence of the challenges that companies in the tech sector experience in the automobile sector. These ventures require patience and partnership, the innovators in society often require this.
Some other manufacturers of smartphones similarly succeeded in the car production targets like Huawei, Xiaomi, and so on. The firms worked with local automakers to start their cars. Apple has had its plans to work with Hyundai Kia as well.
