New rumors suggest that the Apple company is going to release a cheaper Apple Vision Pro headset. This cheap gadget may be available for early next year. However, as they said, affordable is relative and within this car was as close as you could get to a US$2,000 car.
To control cost, there is a minus on some of its functions, which seems to be the action of this schematics. The EyeSight feature will be omitted in this version, an advertising icon that presents the wearer’s eyes for others to see. Further, the device may be built with less costly components, probably using plastic instead of metal.

The Vision Pro’s M-grade chip which is a powerful one will be substituted with a less powerful processor. It is unspecified, but it could be the A18 chip that is marketed in the iPhone 16 series. We wonder if this could have the dual benefit of reducing both cost and weight as part of the vehicle.
Apple expects a brighter sales performance for this cheaper headset. With this change in price levels, the company estimates that it will be able to sell twice as many Apple Vision Pro machines as it currently is. At the same time, the second-generation Vision Pro equipped with an M5 chip is to be introduced in 2026.

Going even further in the future, Apple has even grander plans. Next year they may release smart glasses with cameras and AirPods. They will further extend their range of AR devices.
The new affordable Vision Pro reveals Apple’s efforts towards making AR a reality for the masses. Primary reason for extending the number of price points is to bring more users into the platform tentacles of Apple.
