Vivo is going to launch the Vivo Pad 2 in China soon. It’s the follow-up to the original Vivo Pad. The first Vivo tablet came out in April 2022. The Vivo Pad 2 will probably be announced on April 20th alongside the Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip. Geekbench recently spotted the upcoming Vivo Pad 2, and it will have a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor and Android 13 OS.
Vivo Pad 2 specifications

The Vivo Pad 2 will have a bigger 12.1-inch LCD display than the original Vivo Pad’s 11-inch display. It will be a 2.8K display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The tablet’s dimensions are 266×191.6×6.6mm, and it weighs 580 grams.
The Vivoo Pad 2 will be powered by the Media Tek Dimensity 9000 chipset, as confirmed by a recent Geekbench listing. The tablet will be available in 8GB and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM variants. It will also come with 128GB,256GB, and 512GB UFS3.1 storage options.
The original Vivo Pad has an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC and has a 13MP+8MP rear camera system. The tablet has an 8,040mAh battery that supports 44W charging and weighs 489 grams.
The Vivo Pad 2 will have a few upgrades, including a bigger display, battery, and faster chipset. However, the switch from an 8MP ultra-wide to a 2MP macro lens might be a downgrade. We will wait until the launch of the Vivo Pad 2 to judge its performance, which should happen later this month.
