Truecaller has added a new feature to its iPhone app called Live Caller ID, which uses Siri to provide real-time information about incoming calls, even from unknown numbers. To use this feature, iPhone users can activate Truecaller with their voice by saying, “Hey Siri, Search Truecaller.” However, this feature is only available to premium subscribers of Truecaller using devices with iOS 16 or newer. In addition to Live Caller ID, the update also includes 2xbetter spam detection, which means Truecaller can more accurately identify and block unwanted calls. The update also allows users to view and add comments on spam-marked numbers, which can help other Truecaller users avoid unwanted calls in the future.

Truecaller has updated its SMS filtering feature to automatically categorize incoming messages into different categories such as Finance, Orders, Reminders, Coupons, Offers, and Junk. Rishit Jhunjhunwala, the Managing Director of Truecaller India, said that the team put a lot of effort into building the Siri-powered Live Caller ID feature for iPhone users. He also mentioned that Truecaller is seeing good adoption rates on iPhones and will continue to innovate on the iOS platform.

True Caller’s latest update for iPhone users offers added convenience by allowing them to search the entire True Caller database automatically using Siri. This means iPhone users no longer have to manually search or copy-paste numbers into the app. The Live Caller ID feature ensures the same level of information quality as the Android version of Truecaller. The update is currently available for iOS16 and newer devices in India, South Africa, and Nigeria, and will soon be available in other countries.
