MYStartup Pre-Accelerator Demo Day powered by Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd came to a successful close on the 4th of October 2024. It happened at Grey Box, GMBB to demarcate the summer sports program which was a rigorous three-month program. During this period, the startups got training, mentorship, and business development services.
There were 11 startups from the finalists who pitched their MVPs to a panel of jurors. Their innovative solutions focused on the fintech, health tech, and agritech sectors. Of the 30 participating startups, each of these honed its business model to represent the participants when competing for the market.

The final five winners were given RM35,000 in cash plus other support and the 2 last positions received RM15,000 and other support. The winners of the program were DashAdd, IOXTECH Global, Faradays Energy, Nanofertech, and Vidanex. All these startups were innovative and well-positioned in the market in terms of idea ownership.
Cradle Group CEO Norman Matthieu Vanhaecke also commends the Malaysian startups on their innovation. Mr Khoo also stressed that these businesses are very important in creating the economic value of Malaysia. Pioneering founders, he said, contributed to fostering employment and establishing Malaysia as a technology center.
Sam Shafie, the CEO of WatchTower and Friends, explained that they want to continue improving the Malaysian startup scene. It is now part of the program and has been added given investors’ increasing emphasis on ESG.
MYStartup Pre-Acceleartor Programme responds to the country’s Startup Ecosystem Roadmap for Malaysia 2021-2030. Its target is to increase the speed of the initial stage companies by bringing structure to the process of coaching in addition to necessary resources.
