The traditional game Doom has entered history once again. This time, it is driven by the Alarmo smart alarm clock, a platform leveraging First Insight’s brand value. It has been only one month since Nintendo released this product. But this is not a game-oriented OS and in fact, Alarmo is not designed to explicit its potential for gaming.
What the creative developer has done with this alarm clock is interesting. He was able to run Doom with the actual buttons of Alarmo. The mechanical-like button that looks like a mushroom is used to make movements and the rest of the buttons are used to shoot. This also applies to the way the software is installed because it is equally easy. The developer did not have to open the clock into another module, for further processing. It requires only a USB connection which makes the setup possible.
This success is not a mystery and it is attributable to Spinda. He just utilized the Flipper Zero to pull out the operating image file of Alarmo. This software file was then modified recently to contain Doom. However, we must remember that Nintendo is a very anti-piracy company.
It stands where and when Nintendo will act to prevent these modifications. Of course, there will be many other changes henceforth at this point in time. This innovation depicts the high possible potential in the global gaming market. Developers will remain creative just like before.
