realme has announced the release of the Realme 13 Pro Series, which features the world’s first AI-powered ultra-clear camera, during an event themed “The Future is Here: AI is Revolutionizing Mobile Imaging” in Bangkok. Industry leaders joined in to discuss how AI is going to make a difference in mobile imaging technology. Sven-Olaf Steinke from TÜV Rheinland shared details on where innovation is being helmed in Mobile Photography. Toshimitsu Kurosaka from Sony shared the details of a new collaboration with realme.
Sony and HYPERIMAGE+ Architecture Collaboration
Realme teamed up with Sony to integrate the Sony LYT-701 sensor into their Realme 13 Pro Series. With this sensor, imaging experiences get raised to realme’s AI Photography Architecture with HYPERIMAGE+. Francis Wong, Head of Product Marketing at realme, mentioned that there has been a shift from hardware to AI in mobile photography. The HYPERIMAGE+ brings top-of-the-line optics with on-device AI imaging algorithms and cloud-based AI image editing.

Flagship AI Imaging Capability and Image Quality
With an Ultra Clear Camera configured with AI, the Realme 13 Pro Series puts through DSLR-like performance via its twin main cameras: an OIS-configured 50MP main camera and another periscope telephoto camera of 50MP. These cameras support 3x optical zooming. The capturing of images has been very impressive according to Toshimitsu Kurosaka, and this technology is empowering.
AI HyperRAW Algorithm and Portrait Photography
The AI HyperRAW Algorithm enhances the clarity and dynamic range of images in RAW. On top of the list, Realme 13 Pro Series introduces AI Pure Bokeh, AI Natural Skin Tone, and AI Ultra Clarity. AI PureBokeh accurately identifies scene elements to process them in providing real portraits. AI Natural Skin Tone targets better skin display, while AI Ultra Clarity resolves low-resolution photos.
TÜV Rheinland Certification and High-Resolution Camera

The Realme 13 Pro+ obtained the High-Resolution Camera Certification from TÜV Rheinland. Among them, Sven-Olaf Steinke mentioned that it had very good clarity in many different kinds of lighting conditions. This proves the fact that this camera can produce images of very superior quality.
Further information regarding when it will hit Malaysian shores for the Realme 13 Pro Series will be made known soon.
