The PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds known as PUBG is one the most popular video game in the world. The game released on mobile for iOS and Android. This game is famous worldwide especially in India students are playing this game widely.
Recently, PUBG game has been banned in India because of too many students playing this game and most of them are not performing well in their school exams. Based on the research it proven that the student marks are dropping drastically after playing this game. Inside India, the state of Gujarat has implemented a ban on PUBG Mobile game.

Last week, more than 10 students arrested in the city of Ahmedabad. Another 16 people arrested in the city of Rajkot. Most of the youths are upset about this new restriction in India. According to Gujarat’s police commissioner Manoj Agarwal, the game was banned on March 6 because it was too addictive for students mainly. According to the report from Hindustan Times, one of the minister in Goa called the game “a demon in every house”. It is not only PUBG even Fortnite also is one of the battle royale game which is famous in India too. However, this game has not received such restrictions yet.
In a statement by PUBG Mobile said “We were surprised to learn that local communities in a few cities have decided to impose the ban on playing our game. We are working to understand the legal basis as such bans, and hope we can have a constructive dialogue with relevant authorities to explain our objective and that they withdraw the prohibition.” From their statement, we can see that PUBG Mobile is working hard to remove the ban in India.
Few days ago, Negeri Sembilan Mufti Datuk Mohd Yusof Ahmad said that government should consider banning this game because it give negative impact to the children and youths. Another reason he told was it is inappropriate for Muslims.
