Have you ever stuck in the traffic jams and think of having a flying car? Yes! In another few years, you would be able to fly over the traffic jam using the flying taxis. You can sooner grab the flying taxis by 2025.
Michael Thacker, the executive VP for Technology and Innovation at Bell tells that whatever we have been dreaming on the paper is coming to reality. The technology is real. According to Thacker, Bell, and Uber is joining hands together to create a fleet of flying taxis vertical take-off and landing vehicles (VTOL). Part of the collaboration would be few aeronautics firms which includes France Safran.
According to Uber, it has a plan to launch the first flying taxis in Los Angeles and Dallas. These are the two cities where the traffic rates are always high. Airbus is also working on a similar concept of VTOL. But their plan is to build an electric aircraft CityAirbus.
It is really incredible to witness the growth of the technology. When we were watching Back to the Future movie, we would not have been expecting a flying car or a hoverboards. That was filmy during those day but now we are finally realizing it.
