Reading Time: 2 minutes read

It has already been almost one year since Meta unveiled its first-ever smart glass with built-in AI. Since the day the Rayban Meta smart glasses were launched, it has been receiving a lot of positive responses from the end-user. Due to the increased demand for Rayban Meta smart glass. Meta has decided to increase the video recording duration from 60 seconds to 3 minutes.

With the most recent software update Version 6.0 allows users to record longer duration using their Rayban Meta smart glass. Meta doesn’t want you to miss any of the moments while recording. This means, with the increase of 3 minutes of video recording you can capture all your important moments from your Rayban Meta smart glasses.

One tiny thing to note about the new software update is, that even after updating the glasses, the default recording time will be set as 60 seconds. We believe the main reason for this could be due to the battery consumption in the Rayban Meta glasses. In this case, you might need to head over to the settings page on your MetaView app and change it to 3 minutes.

At the moment of writing this content, we were not able to get the software update yet from Meta. Probably, Meta is gradually rolling out to the rest of the users in the coming weeks. What do you think about the new MetaView update from Meta?
