Pico has released the Pico 4 Ultra and Pico Motion Tracker in Malaysia. Starting September 4, 2024, the Pico 4 Ultra is priced at RM 2,799 while the Pico Motion Tracker goes for RM 399. For a limited period, Pico gives discounts and coupons on the e-commerce platforms of Shopee and Lazada, where the customers can buy the Pico 4 Ultra for RM 2,579 on Shopee and RM 2,699 on Lazada.
Gifts are also given with purchases that fall between 4 and 22 September 2024, consisting of a free Pico Motion Tracker worth RM362 and an All-in-One Sport VR game worth RM129.99. There will also be special deals available on Lazada from September 9 to 11, 2024, whereby the Pico 4 Ultra will be sold at RM2,531 using discount vouchers.
Pico4 Ultra has dual 32MP RGB cameras and an iToF depth-sensing camera. Multi-window support provides panoramic workspace and easy mode switching. The headset comes fitted with seven visual sensors, including four environmental tracking cameras boasting SLAM spatial positioning.
The Pico4 Ultra displays are 2.56″ 4K+ panels, carrying a 90Hz refresh rate. It is fitted with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Weight-wise, it is 580 grams in total, well-balanced for comfort.
The Pico4 Ultra can capture spatial videos at 2048 x 1536 pixels at 60fps. It supports content from Apple devices, with plans to push future updates for the ability to record spatial audio. On another note, the Pico Motion Tracker was already providing high-precision full-body motion capture, automatically pairing with Pico headsets.
