Analysts believe Apple will deliver new changes in the iPhone 17 derivative next year. In the next year, the iPhone Plus model will be replaced with a new model called Slim. This model is to make possible flagship specifications, but at the very least, it will have minimum functionality. The footage anticipates that it will only contain one camera to enhance its design.

Thanks to recent reports from ETNews, people know that LTPO OLED screens will be incorporated into all iPhone 17 models. From the year 2021, the ProMotion feature which has a screen refresh rate of 120Hz is available for only the Pro forms. ProMotion technology works only with LTPO panels which are currently scarce.

From the year 2025, Apple aims to integrate LTPO OLED display across all four iPhone 17 models. Samsung and LG will remain the main providers for Apple as the latter expects no shortage of demand. In the current procurement of products for its iPhone 17 series, Apple has selected Samsung as its primary supplier. LG will supply screens only for the Slim and Pro kind.

At the same time, Apple is also seeking suppliers in China at the present. However, they provide OLED LTPS mainboards with only a 60Hz refresh rate for primary models. If these reports turn out to be true, then it’s the final send-off for the 60Hz displays on smartphones. We can hardly wait for the next step up in the series of iPhones in the coming year.
